Grande Burrito — Restaurant in Markham

Second time at grande burrito and at a different location.

This Markham location is truly a gem. It wasn’t busy on a Wednesday evening, but the person helping us out was super helpful and so friendly.

We had our family of four there and a decent sized order. They walked us through the entire menu and took the time to prep our order which was really nice and greatly appreciated.

I got the combo but unfortunately I totally forgot to grab my drink, which would’ve only been a canned soda. I got my combo with the churros which were good but not their strong point. I would say their tacos and burritos are their forte like their name suggests.

Tacos were good, bowls were good and burritos was good too. Definitely add some jalapeños for some kick and the burrito sauce which has a mixture with sour cream in it too.

Parking is available, but it seems like the lot beside grande burrito is meant more for Marriott hotel visitors, so would recommend parking where the big open lot is in the cineplex plaza as there is lots of spots there. Not sure why this place has a high rating because the food is extremely underwhelming and bland. Although the ingredients individually seemed to be of ok quality they were all soooo bland and lacked basic seasoning. I ordered a chicken mango bowl and each bite was just the same flavourless mush. The chicken had zero flavour and was also served completely cold. The best part of this bowl was the slices of mango. It’s not hard to add flavour and salt. They miss the basics here. Chipotle’s flavours are a thousand times better and I recommend a burrito bowl there instead. I had to add sooo much Tajin seasoning to my bowl to make it better. Highly Recommended! Grande burrito has left an exceptional impression on me with its delectable taco and burrito offerings. From start to finish, my dining experience was nothing short of delightful, and I couldn't be more satisfied.
