Ordered bunch of take out since restaurant in dining is restricted until 26Jan Pan fried green onion cake- only $3.99 but minimal green onion filling, not crispy enough, doughy & chewy Steam pork & celery dumplings- presentation was off putting, dumpling were tannish in.color but the taste/texture was good. Pork/celery ratio decent, the celery actually was crunchy which is impressive Jellyfish- the portion was large but I'm not sure if this as real jellyfish. Somehow the texture and "mouth feel" didn't seem right to me Fries noodles w/ beef- this as the star of the group. Huge portion, had the "wok hey" flavor Pan fried pork/chive dumplings- similar to many other restaurants, nicely fried, pork/chive filling nicely minced/mixed Minced pork & Soya paste noodles- alot of noodles, not enough soya paste. Doesn't come close to the Shanghaiese style "jaja mein" so my "jaja mein" quest continues. Overall, not bad, food will last me at least 3-4 days, as Wayne & Garth would say "party on"

I've been a regular here for years. Pre and post pandemic. I have to be honest that during the pandemic I dined here when things started to open up and the quality wasn't what I was used to. But gave it another chance and glad I did because the quality is back up to my memory of it pre pandemic. This place serves the best green onion pancake I've ever had in the GTA. The steamed dumplings are amazing (my fav, chicken and mushroom), the garlic pea shoots are so crunchy, garlicky and great quality as they use young shoots. Prices have gone up a bit and portions got a bit smaller post pandemic but I find that to be the case everywhere. Service is fast, food is hot and comforting. You can't go wrong. Stir fried noodles are perfectly cooked. Stewed chicken mushroom glass noodles are so good too. The interior could use a face list but hey...you're there don't a good, comforting , delicious meal that doesn't break the bank.

Good and filling using a promotional offer available through social media. Visited Chinese Dumpling House in January of 2019. Got five dishes including a steamer of dumplings. No options or change of selection was posiible. I found the food enjoyable but I also agreed with my dining companion that the food I have experienced at the Markham location was better. This may come down to the fact that I made my own choices there while it was a set menu here. I can only guess that the set menu here is meant to appeal to the widest range of people, but to me the dumplings were bland and the sauced dishes stickier and sweeter than I prefer. Nicer decor and roomier seating here though and the people seemed nice. Lots of free parking and as we dined the place got busier with a good mix of people. Enjoy!

Food is great, but the customer service is bad( except one particular waitress)....so bad that it left a bitter taste.... The food taste doesn't make up for the bad experience. I have been visiting this ace for a couple of years and I noticed the waitresses service degraded over time. I have to mention that if you are non Asian or you don't speak Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) you will definitely get a different treatment and not in the good way. This has been confirmed on my today's visit. On today's visit I have been served by a waitress that never smiled, not even the fake Chinese smile....I did get the eye rolling and attitude from her. I have to mention that without a fail on all my previous visits I never saw this waitress ever smile... That being said, it came time to pay the bill. After we paid the bill while we were walking out of the business she was complaining to the other waitress in their native tongue that only 5% tip. I did turn around and explain her that tip is not mandatory.... Now on the second thought we shouldn't have given them any tip at all. I believe we will stop going to this place since doesn't know to treat...
