3rd update of my review (most recent one was 2018 February)
Came in on Tuesday at 11:15pm and they were still opened with wing special available. They said last call at 12:45am. There were only 3 customers left inside. They offered a "late night menu" though.
Late night menu include but not limited to: salads, bruschetta, chicken rolls, calamari, potato skins, wings, chicken fingers, poutine, onion rings etc.
Tuesday wing specials are 99 cent with minimum order of 6 wings per order. MENU SAYS they come with carrots and celery, and your choice of ranch/ dill/ blue cheese dressing. ... We only got wings and nothing else. BUT maybe that's the regular late night menu and Tuesday wing specials don't include it .... We ordered a ranch sauce after ....
Wing sauces: Wet (BBQ, honey garlic, medium, hot, suicide, sweet chilli, Jamaican jerk, teriyaki, hot-honey) Dry (Cajun, Juanita, lemon pepper, salt & pepper [Extra sauce $1.00, split flavours $1.00, carrots & celery $3]
They have a variety of Molson beers on tap. The overall feel is still the same.
My last review said the wings were ok sized but wings were dry and felt refried. A year later, I feel the same. They were about 2" in length and even with wet sauce (I ordered hot honey and medium) they were still dry and hard. They were nice and hot though. The medium was barely spicy though. The dry Cajun was very dry buy barely Cajun ....
We were also not given a bucket for bones. With 4 orders of wings our plates were filled with bones and unable to use it without combining the wing baskets so that we can use one for bones.
There was only one server for the whole restaurant. She was sweet.
Overall I'm a bit disappointed that there's no improvement in wings quality or false advertising of carrots/celery and dressing being included. But happy they stay open late and still offer...
Read moreQuite possibly the worst experience I've had in an establishment in a long time. Phoned to see it they could accommodate a large group approx 25 people we ended up with 30. They said it would not be a problem. We arrived to a restaurant that had only 2 other patrons upon our arrival and one, very rude, flustered overwhelmed staff member working. The waitress/Bartender was as rude and as un-accomdating as possible. One of our party even had to help the busboy expedite our food, because she was busy complaining to the one or two regulars about the size of our group. When the manager showed up for work some time later, he explained it was our fault because they only had one server scheduled, on a Saturday afternoon. Why did they tell us they could accomdate our group? We would have gone elsewhere. Why didn't the manager come in early to help his staff or call in help knowing we would be showing up? Total fail on all accounts. Needless to say none of us will be back and we are all locals. What a blown opportunity for this restaurant. If I could give it less than a one I would. WAY LESS and for the record ... they had no problem taking our money, which by all accounts was 10 times busier than they...
Read moreBy far one of the worst bars I've been to!! The service was terrible. I caught the 3 female employees talking about my girlfriend and I. The restaurant was just really dirty, everywhere you looked you could see dust on all corners and ledges. Then the food comes, I was on the fence between 3 dishes. I didn't want to get a terrible meal, so I went with the easiest choice, homemade burger. The burger comes, the patty is supposed to be homemade, but the patty didn't even fill the whole bun. I dress my small burger on a massive bun, take a nice bite, and the burger is still pink on the inside. Now the restaurant was pretty much empty, there was absolutely no need to rush out the food at all. I then tell the waitress, tell her about my meal, at which point I lost my apitie. Once the bill came, mind you I took one bite from the burger then sent it back. I got my bill and they still charged me for gravy $2.00 which I never even had. It's not about the amount, more the principal, and the fact the mistake was on the chef. Don't go to this place at all! Unless you want to be earing in a dump and get served uncooked food then still get charged for items you didn't...
