Krispy's Kajun Chicken — Restaurant in Markham

Low expectations and even lower quality of service and food. Long story short, bad customer service and generic chicken.

Tried my first visit today and it wasn’t a pleasant one. This appears to be a family owned fast food restaurant and you would expect a little more service and quality in the food being so.

Unfortunately I was over charged a few additional items and realized upon leaving about 5km away. I contacted them and they were defensive about the overcharge. They requested I return for a resolution and I did to provide them with the receipt and order. At that point they were still defensive and did not offer any resolution except providing me with a refund, which they short changed me (didn't think it could get worse)

Hoping the food would make up for the lacklustre customer service, but again I was let down. Unfortunately the flavours and taste are just inline with what your local KFC or Popeyes provides.

It’s important to note aside from the experience, the location itself did not look sanitary and they were not enforcing Covid-19 rules of having customers require a mask.

I have been a proud Krispys customer for many years now. I have tried every piece of food that they have to offer and was always satisfied. Their home recipies are always on point and never fail to amuse. They provide a unique fried chicken taste that cannot be replicated by anyone anywhere.

Their fried chicken is simply the best. Having lived in the southern states for a few years I had the oppurtunity to try many "authentic fried chicken" restaurants however none of them have the crisp or taste like Krispys.

The chicken is fresh. The chicken is battered and fried on the spot. The chicken is of the finest quality Halal meat has to offer.

And their biscuits are FIRRRREEE!! Crisp and dry on the outside and perfectly moist in the centre as they should be.

I have brought easily over 50 of my friends and colleagues here to eat over the years, sometimes even driving from far places such as Niagara Falls or even directly from the airport just to get a taste of that sweet sweet spicy mayo sauce.

HIGHLY recommended! Great food, brilliant staff and amazing food....

I didn’t even want to eat fried chicken at the moment due to heat and humidity, but something told me inside I needed to give this place a try.

Then I looked at the reviews and the descriptions matched what I have been looking for in a good fried chicken. I am a foodie with fine taste. If you have fine taste you are never going to be fat because you would rather be hungry than stuff yourself with low quality foods.

Indeed the fried chicken is crispy outside and juicy and smooth inside. Even the fries taste good.

As for the spice, they made it just right. It’s the exact taste I wanted in a fried chicken.

P.S. I got my food after they served a very large take out order maybe that’s why I get the freshest ingredients and oil which is crucial for good fried chickens. I highly recommend every fried chicken joints pursue the highest standards and best ingredients.

P.S. I will try this place again next time in a different hour to see if they maintain the same high standard
