I am sure this will get the standard form-written response from Starbucks. I spoke to their Head Office and their so-called "health department." What a joke. But I digress. I had frequented this location for years. Never again. Not this, or any other location. On January 17, at 6:30 am, I went to this Starbucks and ordered a Bacon, egg and Gouda breakfast sandwich, as well as 3 coffees, for myself and some co-workers. I paid in cash and was not given a receipt, nor did I ask for one, as I did not think I would need it. After a considerable wait(I was the only customer in the store), I received my order. I went back to my office and re-heated the breakfast sandwich and coffee. I took a bite of the sandwich. Something tasted off, so I looked inside the sandwich. Both pieces of bacon were raw, not undercooked, raw. I threw the sandwich out. Fast forward 3 hours and I am throwing up. I had food poisoning. I contacted Starbucks Head Office and they emailed me back with a number to call. I was put on infinite holds 3 times before I spoke to someone. I gave the rep my case number. She asked me what I was calling about. I told her to please LOOK UP my case number. She did and said that she would transfer me to their health department. The person I spoke to in the so-called "health department" of Starbucks was a joke. Inept, and useless. She said unless I took pictures of my raw bacon and had a receipt she could not help me. I told her that was fine, as I have already filed a formal complaint with York Region Public Health. They are investigating. Starbucks Head Office is useless, and the people who work there ill-equipped to answer any questions. I suffered from food poisoning for several days. All I wanted was for Head Office to take some accountability, but...
Read moreI am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the customer service I received at the Starbucks located at 2880 Major Mackenzie Dr. E, Markham, Ontario at 1:45-2:10pm on Saturday May 4, 2024. My experience was marked by rudeness, unprofessionalism, and a general lack of care from the employees.
Firstly, when I asked why she didn’t add my name to my order, the representative dismissively responded with "don't worry about it," showing a lack of basic courtesy.
Secondly, despite waiting almost half an hour for my order, I observed that customers who arrived after me received their orders promptly. This inconsistency in service is unacceptable.
Furthermore, when I expressed my concerns to the employees, I was met with defensiveness and further rudeness from all three employees. One employee even had the audacity to suggest that I go to another location if I was not satisfied with the service provided. This level of disrespect towards a paying customer is completely unjustifiable.
I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed by the staff at this Starbucks location. It is clear that immediate attention is needed, and the employees require urgent training on how to properly handle customer interactions.
I am sharing my experience in the hope that no other customer will have to endure such poor service. I have visited other Starbucks locations where the employees are courteous, professional, and I expect nothing less from this...
Read morecame here at around 8am, ordered a cinnamon dolce latte and a cold foam iced cappuccino(almond foam with no extra milk). waited for 15minutes, barista called out 15mobile orders(at least) and still hasn't started my drink. I was planning to leave, but she insisted and said they'll take A MINUTE to finish. Barista started pouring brewed iced coffee from the jug, and I reminded her that I ordered an iced cappuccino not iced coffee, then she asked "isn't iced cappuccino without milk an iced coffee?", didn't wait for my answer but asked another barista the same question, which the other barista agreed to that. I hope they know that cold foam iced cappuccino with just foam equals to a DRY Cappuccino(Foam + Espresso), not a DRY Coffee Misto (Foam + Brewed Coffee) I paid for FRESH espresso from the espresso machine, not 5:15am pre-brewed iced coffee that you kept in a jug. Baristas from Starbucks can't identify differences between brewed coffee and fresh espresso?...
