Freshslice Pizza — Restaurant in McBride Sapperton

I ordered delivery with Uber Eats One. There was a fantastic 2 for 1 deal from the restaurant and an additional 40 percent off coupon from Uber Eats.

I got 6, yes that's right, SIX medium pies for $42 with delivery and tip! That deal cannot be beat; $7 each.

Now on to the pies!

The first thing I noticed; the restaurant followed my very detailed, and likely annoying, additional notes regarding the order to a TEE! BIG COMPLIMENTS there, as that rarely happens. Therefore I give a perfect service rating of 5 stars.

As you can see in the pictures, the pies are all well crafted, with good and even topping distribution.

I requested extra sauce on all pies, a wise choice as I like my 'ZA saucy.

There are photos of 4 pizzas instead of 6, as 2 are duplicates.

I got pizzas with 3 different types of sauce; tomato, rose, and creamy garlic. All are very tasty.

The dough is incredibly soft and tender. I love the hint of multigrain flavour, which is almost slightly nutty with delightfully tender bite and chew through.The crust is quite thin, and I didn't order thin crust on any of them. It is comparable to a foldable New York 🗽🍕 pizza, and that's a GREAT thing if that is what one is craving. That means more topping and sauce to crust ratio. It also means fewer carbs and bloating.

The topping amounts are good, with 1 caveat. I do find the pies where I added cheddar are better and the mozzarella only ones aren't quite cheesy enough. That can be rectified with extra mozza OR adding a second cheese as a topping for future orders. This resulted in 4 stars for food quality, but really more like 4.5, which cannot be selected.

I cannot rate the atmosphere, as wasn't in the store.

I am able to eat 1 medium pie as a large meal, for what it's worth. I don't feel gross or bloated at all!

Overall, this is the best Fresh Slice pizza I've ever had. I will definitely be a repeat customer. I think the pies are best ordered hot and fresh and not by the slice from the warmer.

BEWARE: THE FRESH SLICE WEBSITE ONLINE ORDER DOES NOT WORK. THIS STORE TOOK MY MONEY EVEN THOUGH THEY GOT THE WRONG ORDER. I DONT CARE MY MONEY, I JUST WANTED THE PAN PIZZA THAT I ORDERED. BUT VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. SO GOODBYE FRESH SLICE PIZZA. IM ALSO GOING TO POST IN SOCIAL MEDIA HOW THE WEBSITE MADE A MISTAKE...SO DO NOT USE THE WEBSITE BECAUSE THE FRESH SLICE PIZZA STORE CAMNOT MAKE IT RIGHT. NOT GOING TO ORDER ANY FROM THEIR FRANCHISE. So tonight I ordered online for 4 medium pan pizzas. I went to store. Paid $42 for the whole pizzas. When they gave to me the pizzas, it was thin slice pizzas. I told them that's not my order. But the store will not change the pizza and will not refund my money. And they told me that I did not properly clicked the pan pizza instead of thin slice pizza. So I went home, took a video how I ordered online the pan pizza. But then the online system had a problem of changing it to thin pizza that I did not know about. The store will not refund my money nor just make 4 pan pizzas that I ordered. They said they already made the thin pizzas and took my money. I'm not sure why they just cannot make a new pan pizza and properly deliver the pizza that I ordered and paid for. So this is my first time with fresh sliced pizza. Not going to order it because they robbed my money. No customer service! They should have just made the pizza right. 4 Disappointed adults and not going to order...

I have had Fresh Slice Pizzas all around Vancouver….I always prefer to buy the classic combos they offer and ask them to give a little bit of pickled Jalepenos on the side because I like that toppings on my pizza… However, the Fresh Slice franchise located on Columbia Road East, New Westminster, Vancouver is pathetic and hopeless in serving customers what they want…I’m writing this review because it is happening to me for the 2nd time where the front end workers taking orders adamantly denies to serve the pickled Jalepenos when asked even after agreeing to pay for it.

As a company, Fresh slice is a very good restaurant and very promising in how they keep up the quality at a affordable prices, But, when the Franchise owners get involved and come up with their own rules, it just makes it worse and pathetic.

Imagine how many times I have walked past fresh slice located in New Westminster, Vancouver as I work around the same area and thought that “I wanted have my lunch in Fresh Slice, but, these people whine so much to serve a small container of Jalapeños even when we agree to pay for it.” You are just taking the originality and the quality of a food service providing company.

I hope the company takes necessary actions to periodically investigate in how these employees in franchises treat...
