Quesada Burritos & Tacos — Restaurant in McBride Sapperton

Dumb interaction. Sign outside said $7.99 burrito special. So I thought I'd give it a try. After confirming the special (or so I thought) with the woman making my burrito... she rang it up at $11 + something after tax. I said that can't be right. Manager (or Franchise Owner) said that's an old sign out front. The current one blew down in the wind.

So she acknowledged the sign was right but I was wrong for not noting the expiry date. SMH.

Out of principle I left. Was never about the $3.

I gave 2 stars because the burrito I left behind did look good. But there are plenty of other options around here and found another easily.

Would think a little common business sense would have prevailed here and given benefit of the doubt this one time. Especially when you are new and trying to establish yourself in a crowded marketplace. (Plus I think there is contract law that would support me, but that's for another day)

What can ya do? Hopefully they figure it...

So I live right behind this new Quesada and decided on ordering a burrito bowl. The order said it was done and ready for pickup but when me and my partner went in to pick it up it wasn’t done at all and we had to wait for another maybe around 8 min minutes which is whatever but I’m not sure why our order said it was ready when it wasn’t. Like it wasn’t put together at all yet.

For the food itself somehow it was cold even though we got it fresh. As I said we live behind and this place and it’s got to be only about 4 minutes to get back up to our apartment. So I guess the food is being kept barely warm and I mean the beans/protein/rice. I do like the vegan options but I was pretty unimpressed.

The place is at least nice looking and the staff were friendly. But not a great first impression at all for this location food...

Friendly staff, fast service. It was my first time at this location and there was a pretty messy table the whole time I was there no one cleaned it so I notified staff. I hope they keep up with the cleanliness unlike the new west skytrain location which is a lot darker and dingy. I love the vibrant colours. I think they need to turn up the music a bit there was some good music playing but all you could hear is the beeping of machines in the back and banging from the kitchen. I ordered the three hard tacos and they were delicious. I hope they put table and chairs outside as well so on nice days you have that option. Over all love the location and will...
