Mary Brown's Chicken — Restaurant in Merritt

My husband and I stopped here for dinner with our two kids. We took so long to figure out what we wanted but the staff were super patient with us. We promptly received our meal and it was freshly cooked and delicious. My youngest son was eating a mini mary sandwich and his piece of chicken somehow found itself on the ground. Without any hesitation the staff made him a new one and Harpal (who is a super star by the way) brought it straight to our table. We were so surprised because I didn't even know that they saw what happened! That type of customer service should not be left unrecognized. Not only that, we saw the staff catch an error in another person's meal and again, without hesitation made sure to rectify the situation with a smile. They sure know how to keep their customers happy and make sure we return. I can tell you one thing... we will be back for sure! Thank you Harpal and the rest of the team that made our visit...

Very nice fried chicken! I've only been to the Merrit location and must say the first time I was in the area and tried it I wasn't really a fan. After going back recently due to a friend from Newfoundland that convinced me that it was worth another try and I'm so happy she did! Absolutely loved it this time and probably blame a long drive and traffic to explain my first experience (which on a side note is a good reminder to not be too stubborn to give second chances). The chicken was tender with great flavour and not greasy. We really enjoyed the taters as well. We split a chicken burger and it was great too! Over all I highly recommend that when you are in the area (probably filling up with gas) to stop and try it out. The couple that run it take pride in what they do and it shows. I wish them and Mary Browns the best and look forward to my next...
