Mr.Sub — Restaurant in Midland

DO NOT EAT HERE! anyway here is how this starts, we walk in, there is a younger fellow and a girl working the counter, she seems nice enough but he was absolutely miserable. he was rude to us as well as short and curt in everything he did. He was cheap on the toppings, I think if he had put less meat on my sub it would have been vegetarian. the place didn't look to clean and the fellow behind the counter had his chest hairs sticking out of his shirt (this is important later). we get the subs home and there is 5 of us eating. 1 child 4 adults. as we are eating all of a sudden one of the adults stops eating and picks out a long curly chest looking like hair from her mouth all wrapped up in food. she starts gagging and runs to the bathroom to throw up. the adult beside her starts gagging as well runs to the other bathroom to throw up. the child sitting at the table gags and then throws up in his hands and starts to cry. my self and the other adult spent the next few minutes throwing about 50$ in subs in the trash and making sure every one else is alright. I just visited the Mr Sub location on King St in Midland ( July 20 ). It was really busy at about 12:45 with 3 people ahead of me and at least 6 groups of people behind me when I was leaving!! Unfortunately there was only ONE individual working. Kudos to her - she did a wonderful job making the subs and was very courteous and respectful to all the customers. I have been in retail and customer service industry for nearly 50 years and this individual would rank as one of the best in providing a positive customer experience especially in the circumstances she was facing!! I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I had to mention this to hopefully help the business. I added a photo as well under photos, unfortunately I couldn’t add it directly with the review but when I went to bite into my sub (chicken souvlaki) it was like biting into a crouton. The chicken was rock hard most likely from being old and left out and then being mixed with the fresh chicken. Not only is it unsettling but potentially unsafe due to bacteria and age.
