I had terrible service. Zaldy, the manager of this location, is HIGHLY unprofessional, and I had an absolutely terrible experience. Just ordered a pizza and marbled cookie brownie with a $7.99 for two items coupon. They called me, but unfortunately I missed the call. However, in less than 1 minute I called them back. They told me they didn't have the brownie so they took that off. I said it was fine. But then they proceeded to tell me I would have to pay more for the pizza I ordered. The manager didn't "like" the $7.99 coupon, so he changed it to $9.99. Keep in mind they did all of this without informing me. So I told them, that was okay, but I was misinformed so I would cancel the order. They didn't let me because apparently they had already sent the delivery guy out. I told them that wasn't my fault and they should've informed me of the changed they made to MY order before they sent him out. And then I asked to speak the manager. He couldn't come to the phone because they were too busy. Anyways, the delivery guy, Ed, who is great by the way, came to my house and I explained to him the situation. I still gave him a tip because he drove to my house. While he was at the door the manager called me. Ed spoke to him telling him he was being ridiculous and so did I. The manager proceeded to blame it on me telling me I didn't pick up the call. I accepted my fault and said "yes, I didn't pick up, that was my bad. But I called back in under a minute. It is not my fault you raised the price without my knowledge and sent the delivery guy out without waiting a minute". And then he accused me of lying telling me that I did not call back in one minute. I told him I have proof, I can check my call history, and I have one of your employees right beside me to prove it. He RAISED HIS VOICE to me telling me I didn't have to check and saying "Well what do you want from us?!" And I told him I wanted them to not make me pay more than I thought I had to or let me cancel. And i hear his whisper some cusses under his breath, angrily telling me I can cancel, followed by hanging up on me. Ed was amazing, and agreed with the terrible salesmanship of the manager, (his name is Zaldy) and gave me the pizza at the price I...
Read moreWe ordered from domino’s tonight at 5:34. Their app shows what’s going on which is a good thing. The email said 20-30 minutes for delivery. Reasonable. Checked the app about 30 minutes later and it said the order had left for delivery at 5:54. Reasonable. Waited a while, still nothing. At 6:20 the delivery driver called me and asked me to send him a pin on google maps because he couldn’t find our place (why he couldn’t just enter the address in google maps I don’t know). I did this.
At 6:45 our order had still not arrived. Just to be clear we are 12 minutes from the dominos location. At this point we are starving but don’t really want the food that has been riding around the city for an hour, so we call domino’s and tell them to make a new order and get it to us ASAP with a different driver. Then we contact the delivery driver and tell him to stop trying to find our house and just go back to the store. He actually asked if I wanted to meet him somewhere. Needless to say I refused.
15 minutes later (!) they START making the new order. This is up there with the worst delivery experiences we’ve ever had. I have no idea if or when we will get food. This is a warning against paying ahead of time in the app. We should have kept our money back and refused to pay. I even tipped for this experience. It’s now almost two hours from when we originally ordered. That’s why this review is so hangry...
Order arrived exactly two hours after the first order. I’m editing this up from one star because now I’ve eaten, and because the second order was hot and tasty. We’ve actually ordered from this location before and it’s been good then as well. My advice: when you hire drivers make sure they know how to use google maps and what to do when lost.
Edited this up to 4 stars now because Domino's contacted me and offered to send some coupons for free pizzas. That was a good way to handle the situation. I'm probably not going to bother with the coupons but it was a...
Read morePlaced order online first it said 27 minutes. Called the store after 25 minutes as the online website "froze". Lady who picked up said they have no drivers, food is ready..So if they knew they wouldn't have drivers(they apparently had 4) why wouldnt they call the customers? Im just supposed to take cold food? I asked her to tell me what time our dinner was supposed to come. First she said 10 minutes. Then she keeps flipping between 15 minutes, then 20 minutes, then I don't know it will be late. So Im just supposed to wait until the food comes when you think it MIGHT come? I know the franchisees of these pizza shops dont care about customer service but cmon, having unprofessional people tell you they dont know when your food is coming? In what restaurant is it acceptable to say "Oh I dont know, its going to be late"? She didnt even bother to ask if maybe I can come grab it? The professional thing to say would have been "Im really sorry, all our drivers are out, your food is ready so you are welcome to come pick it up if you like--And for the inconvenience, here's a can of pop/bag of chips/a coupon". Was that so hard to do?
Not the customer's fault that your store has no drivers. Why make it seem like its our fault for ordering food?
Next time put someone more professional on the phone when you have unhappy clients.
I cancelled the order out of...
