I love PIzzaville pizza and have been going to this location for years. People have always been great, though sometimes it's really busy and your order might be a bit delayed -- understandable though when there's a rush. So why the one star? The pizza I picked up November 10th had a piece of metal wire in it. My son was eating it and fortunately he noticed it in his mouth before swallowing it. I'm not the kind to call and complain as I find it awkward and besides, I live 20 minutes away -- I'm not going to make a round trip out there to get a replacement, etc. Dinner was already ruined as we were all wary of eating any more for fear of getting another piece of wire.
So my wife who was away for the weekend IS the kind to call and complain. And when she did explain the situation a couple days later they didn't seem to care. They also couldn't offer any restitution because it was "too late." Apparently there is a statute of limitations of only a day or two on letting them know they are putting their customer's health at risk. What upsets me most is there was no sense of "OMG, how did this happen? We will take steps to make sure it doesn't re-occur!" It was more like "oh well that's too bad. Tough luck for you you didn't call earlier, maybe you would have got a free [potentially lethal] pizza"
Needless to say I will no longer be...
Read moreOkay so my husband and I have been ordering party pizzas from here for years (and often!) - and it was the absolute best pizza ever. Staff were great and honestly nothing against the staff now; however, the pizza is completely off.
We picked up a large pepperoni pizza today and it’s … not good (I’m sorry to say). This is a franchise so I’m not sure why the pizza doesn’t taste the same anymore. Did the current staff change the ingredients or recipe? The sauce is sugary sweet and spicy? (which it never was - so we can only assume it is a new recipe or new ingredients).
It tastes like someone used tomato paste then added sugar and something spicy to give the sauce a kick - either way it’s a bad result. Not the savory pizzaville sauce or pizza we’re used to at all. We will give it some time and maybe order it again but if it’s a miss again then we won’t be ordering again unfortunately (it was our favorite - people we met who used to live in Milton raved about it)…
Did this franchise get bought/sold by a new owner or is there a misguided change to use cheaper ingredients? Please go back to the original pizzaville pizza - it’s why people come to pizzaville… it’s why we ordered from here for years. I don’t want the new spin or someone else’s version of it - we want the...
Read moreWish there was an option on ‘zero’ stars to describe my opinion!! Tonight was a disaster titled miscommunication between call center and store and lack of professionalism. After placing an order and confirming that I can pay on the phone not at pick up to prevent my guests who volunteered to pick up he pizza from paying, I’m told the store will call to get cc number for payment. When no one callled, i called call center back to ask about the delay, lady confirmed with store again and said they will call me back. They did but to tell me they can’t take payment over the phone and that the call center hire teenagers who don’t know anything. Because I still needed the pizza, got my hubby to pick up and called call center back to complain, she offered me $10 off my order. When hubby went to pick up, the rude owner said the original price is the cost and like it or leave it. We left it! And never bringing our business back again, neither will our guests nor an entire mommy group...
