Dooly's — Restaurant in Miramichi

This really is the ONLY place to go to for either pool, drinks, or some form of entertainment on the Chatham side of Miramichi. If there were 11 total bars, this one wouldn't make the top 10. Been here a couple times because there are zero other options in this neighborhood. It's bad.

Mostly dirty, ripped/frayed carpets by the VLTs that haven't been replaced or repaired in years. I had seen duct tape in the corner by the VLTs once to hold down the carpet. The walls haven't been painted in a very very long time. Stains of some sort all over. The front doors have tape still on them for the many taped pieces of paper that were taped on the glass. Noone has ever bothered to clean it up.

Almost always there is a part of the bathroom broken or in need of some repair. The sound system is god awful. Nearly zero bass. You'd swear they were using speakers from a bookshelf stereo. Which makes the horrible Karaoke almost impossible to deal with.

The area of town this place is in is very questionable. There are rift raft hanging around the front doors at times but they usually don't stay long.

Staff is nice and the prices for everything are good. But that's where it ends for this place. Hard to believe Doolys keeps their name on this dive.

Go across the bridge to the coasters in Douglastown. Its cleaner and they have security, something non existent...

The staff are super nice and friendly. They cater to your need by bringing your drinks to you if you are playing pool, changing the music or adjusting the volume, if booked in their vip room they are able to order you food if requested. The bar gives of positive energy and the bartenders will not tolerate ignorant people so if you are having issues with someone let them know.
