Becca and Danielle are an awesome team and so are the others that work there (apologies I don't know your names). The place isn't that busy because the nearby construction crews keep closing the road (not the fault of the owner or staff). Parking is free and easy and the coffee tastes better than Starbucks. The place also has fewer pretentious clowns than Starbucks... (you know the ones I am referring to, and are to begin reading about). This week I had the unfortunate timing to watch 2 older 'Karen's' behave appallingly towards Becca and her colleagues. These Karen's were complaining about the bingo card promotion and demanding the staff break the rules. When they didn't get what they wanted, one Karen threw the bingo card at one of the employees.... Really? Come on Grandma Karen, pick on someone your own age and ugliness, leave the pretty young ladies working for minimum wage alone and stop behaving so jealously, just because you aren't as slim as them and attractive as them. The Karen's also complained about how much sugar was in a muffin.....then asked for some jam (which as we all know consists of mostly sugar). Well, no matter how much sugar the Karen's consumed, it wasn't going to sweeten their obnoxious attitudes. Becca handled the Karen's in a polite and professional manner, even when one of the Karen's returned to the counter to have another go at complaining. I then overheard the Karen demanding the owners personal telephone number.... who the heck did this Karen think she is, expecting the employees to hand out the owners personal number??? The 2 Karen's sat inside and pouted with faces like slapped backsides and when they left, I noticed one had parked in a disabled parking spot and she wasn't displaying a disabled permit.... Says it all really..... Well, karma is a Karen's dessert. I have my own business and if either of these Karen's came to my place of business I will take great pleasure in telling them that I don't serve witches and that they can shove their broomsticks where the sun doesn't shine and where they store their excess sugar. So, readers, support your local coffee shop and show the Karen's that they aren't welcome anywhere until they change their attitudes for the better. This was the first time in over a year that I saw Karen's in Blendz and Hopefully it will be my last. And my final comment is.... support your local Blendz because if you don't, you'll be stuck with Starbucks and Karen's and people who wear spray-on Lululemon when they should be...
Read moreI asked for a flat white as its not on the menu? They said yes we make a flat white, what size? I said but it's usually one size. They said we do it any size. I said OK medium then. I was served a dishwater latte with barely any coffee flavor. Please train your baristas properly. Here is how to make a flat white. Don't say you can if you can't. I left it in the bin.
+1 To make a flat white, pull a double shot of espresso, then add a small amount of very finely textured steamed milk with minimal foam on top, resulting in a creamy, smooth drink with a strong coffee flavor; the key is to use a milk with very little foam, making the ratio roughly 1 part espresso to 2-3 parts steamed milk depending on your preference. Key steps: Prepare espresso: Pull a double shot of espresso into your cup. Steam milk: Steam your milk until it is very hot with only a thin layer of microfoam on top. Pour milk: Carefully pour the steamed milk over the espresso, ensuring a smooth, even layer. Important points to remember: Milk texture is key: The defining characteristic of a flat white is the smooth, velvety texture of the milk with minimal foam. Ratio: A typical ratio is around 1 part espresso to 2-3 parts steamed milk. Small serving size: Flat whites are usually served in...

I’ve been to many coffee shops to create my own latte art, but Blenz Coffee in Mission truly stands out as one of the best café experiences I’ve ever had.
This isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a beautiful café where you can actually sit down, relax, and enjoy a proper breakfast or a light meal. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to dine, unwind, or even get a little creative with your coffee.
What made my visit unforgettable was the amazing staff. The team—especially the girls working that day—were incredibly kind, supportive, and genuinely excited to help. They didn’t hesitate for a second when I asked if I could do some latte art. They handed me the frothed milk pitcher with a big smile, encouraged me to have fun with it, and made the whole experience so enjoyable.
I’ve done latte art at several places before, but the staff at this Blenz location were by far the most supportive and friendly I’ve ever encountered.
If you’re looking for more than just a coffee run—something with a warm vibe, good food, and amazing people—this is the place to go. Highly recommended!
🎥 I’m sharing a video of the latte I made during my...
