AL Chick — Restaurant in Mississauga

If you guys remember me, I was the customer with the black cap, orange shirt and 2 buckled backpack. I ordered a 2 piece combo along with the drink, and decided to eat there with my drawing tablet. Let me state that this was a restaurant that had replaced John Anderson’s and I used to go there all the time for their wonderfully delicious burgers and poutines at a low cost, I also got well along with the elderly workers that used to own the joint, it was always just perfect! And since I only lived a block to this place, I used to call it my regular base at buying fast food.

But now that they went out of lease, and saw that it looked like a completely different establishment, I was quite disappointed, though I wouldn’t give this place a chance, so I did! And by the time I walked through those doors: The place looked so immaculate and brand new compared to JA’s, I already had my hopes up when I first seen the look of the inside thinking this might be just as good (or better), it was just the perfect place to dine in! So when I ordered my food the lady actually made a mistake that had almost changed my mind about the place, she charged me for a 4 piece combo instead of 2, so due to her mistake I was charged more ($18.99 + tax instead of $10.99 + tax). I didn’t found out until I looked back on the menu price and wondered why I was charged so much for a 2 piece meal, I was pretty lucky to decide to dine in so I could notice that, when I announced it (Calmly and mercifully) the lady AND the manager were feeling ashamed, so they not only gave me extra chicken to go, but gave me a complete refund!

Yes, everything I’m saying is true, dining in also got them to commutate well with me, asking me if the food was good and that the manager giving me more notes about their opening, he said their food was a lot make fresh compared to Popeyes and KFC, and that he charged 10% less than them… So all in all, to make a long story short, you guys and the restaurant clearly have a very good reputation, along with the food.. It was actually tasty! A little flavourless but super juicy and tender, so my wish was granted. This place did not disappoint me and I will gladly be your guy’s regular customer the same I was with the other place ;)

But I will still miss...

👍 Sometimes I think people judge Canadians but it's natural that in an English-speaking country many people can feel overwhelmed by other languages!

The food here is nice. I just don't like to see customers or a business acting like one group of clients are more important or more preferred than anybody else.🙏

Canada has people from countries all over the world like Nepal or many of the African countries or even South America and Beyond. Try to accept everybody!

No matter your age no matter your background wherever you're coming from, please try to be respectful of others. Had some bad experiences here.

Personally I like diversity, granted I understand that it's normal for people to work in specific ethnic and cultural backgrounds like in the restaurant industry.

This review is constantly something I have had to edit. Because I like to see the people of every background are employed or able to enjoy an establishment.

The manager here has tried to do good job. This area is about multiculturalism. The staff here do a great job but people can be very rude at times unintentionally

No matter if you come from a poor family or wealthy family please try to remember others around you are just as deserving of respect! Please be humble 🙏🫂

So please just remember to watch the level of your voice or that if someone gets upset with you that this is an English-speaking country primarily, with love!!

What is meant by this is that some people don't develop enough English skills so if you have a family or are with a friend tried to not make it just about you!🤗

Meaning that acceptance works on the basis that we try to accept each other and show that no matter our backgrounds we can have a better loves together!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at AL Chick, and I have to say, the experience exceeded all expectations! From the fresh, flavorful food to the amazing customer service, everything was top-notch.

The chicken tenders were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside – clearly made fresh and with care. The chicken sandwich was juicy and packed with flavor, paired perfectly with fresh lettuce, tomato, and a soft bun. The chicken wrap was another standout – generously filled and seasoned just right.

The fries were golden and crispy, and the onion rings were some of the best I’ve had – crunchy, fresh, and not overly greasy. On top of it all, the owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, even offering us free dipping sauces that paired perfectly with the meal.

If you’re looking for a spot with amazing food and outstanding hospitality, AL Chick is the place to go. Whether it’s a quick bite or a full meal, you won’t leave disappointed. Highly recommend...
