April 12th: Horrible experience with the new Manager. This is my home freshco, literally have been shopping here from 12 years now and never had a disastrous customer service experience than today. There was 1 sale price on eggs in the whole section and in haste i grabbed those since it was on sale. the original was posted as 7. something and sale price was 5. something. i grabbed the box of 18 eggs (sale priced ones) and went to the till. The cashier at the check out was not sure the price was not coming up on the screen so he asked someone to go checkout the price. after a while I was told the total and i casually asked did you get the price right for the eggs? so he told me its 8$ i was sure i didnt see 8$ tag i told him and he said he can ask someone to check i said no im gonna go check it myself, i went there and saw the price was removed altogether from there. seconds later i saw the cashier behind me, i told him i know this is the pack i got and the price was right here and now theres no price, i told him its not about the price its about how they should carefully be putting price up for the right product. im not here to make a mountain of 3$ and be rich. this is not right what just happened. the cashier understood and was very calm about it until the manager came and told me the price was something else and was not polite about it at all. down the drain goes customer service that person doesnt even know how to talk to someone, just yelling at my face. he said so what do you think i should do with the batch if the price is not right, should i garbage them all? i responded to him atleast put a proper price so that people dont grab something they dont intend to. Eventually i got another pack of 30 for much higher price because i needed that, but disappointed on the way this whole situation was handled. This manager told me theres no price of the product in the system, on which i said then it should not be in the aisles for customers to pick. He said it doesnt matter it doesnt have any price listed on the aisle too and theres no price directly under the product so basically he is right and i am wrong.
I feel sorry freshco you had to hire people with no manners and zero customer service and no sense of professionalism. I have never experienced this low level of customer service ever at this store. Unbelievable and very...
Read moreI’ve lived around here and visited this freshco for a long time. It’s my local grocery store. I love the meats area and it’s possible to find many necessities here BUT the associates are HORRIBLE. I understand you probably don’t want to be there, you hate having to work at a grocery store and are miserable and you’re not getting paid enough but to take that out on customers is actually crazy. The one particular Asian associate who is often at the self checkout the one with the monotone looking face -will it kill you to actually help out rather than give short answers and then snicker away with you little co-workers about whatever the hell it is you assume about the customer. A bag of noodles was ripped, she/he/they(I can’t make out what your pronoun might be) told me to go get another one and walked awaty…and didn’t take the ripped one away? So I just put it back ON THE SHELF as per what I assumed she/he/they wanted me to do. Why wouldn’t you make sure it’s safe. Read moreI recently purchased a bag of chicken from the back meat section that is separate from FreshCo. The male working the counter was very rude. I stood there for ages before he even decided to acknowledge me even though he seen me there. When I eventually got the bag of chicken and went home, I opened it and it didn't smell right. It was completely off. I returned to the store and explained that it didn't smell right and asked for a fresher product but he refused and got very very angry and accused me of switching the product.. I then asked for a refund and he refused to give me one. He was the rudest person I've dealt with and I was completely taken back by his behaviour. I ended up going to a young cashier, I again explained the issue and she was MORE than helpful. She listened and could not apologize more when it wasn't even her fault. She gave me my refund with no issues and was so polite. I go in there all the time as it's my local grocery store and the FreshCo staff are ALWAYS helpful and very kind.
