Went to catch the Maple Leaf game. Had to ask them to put the game on one of the TVs because they had curling on instead. Hardly anyone in there for a Saturday night which we were told was unusual. Ordered the nachos as pictured below. Not bad but could have used another minute under the grill to melt the cheese. Served with a very tasty homemade salsa and sour cream. Chicken wings were just a touch overdone and dry but the flavor was really good. We ordered Thai chili. Cherry cheesecake was a generous portion for the price and tasted good as was The Tuxedo cake. Their desserts are inexpensive. Beer here is very inexpensive and is served super ice cold which is nice. Just as a side note this place is freezing cold. We ended up sitting with our jackets on for the entire night because it was so cold. This kept the beer cold but also made our food cold long before it should have been. Service was quick and attentive but given that there were less than 10 people in the bar I would expect no less. Our server was friendly and chatty ( she might have also been lonely given there was hardly any people in the bar) This location used to be Lucy Seafood. The booths and most of the tables are the same and are starting to look a bit tired. Chairs are mismatched as are the tables not that it really matters. As stated in other reviews there are some interesting characters who inhabit the bar area and are quite obviously regulars. Have to visit again sometime in order to see what it's really like because our server assured us it's usually busy. Overall there are worse options. This is okay nothing spectacular but not bad. Lots of free parking as this is located in a Plaza. They do have a very small patio but it's right off the parking lot and facing a busy road. No we did not sit out there because it's February and it was freezing.

Updating the review after few months - We went on a Game night and the place was jam packed. The co-owner was extremely polite and ensured we got a seat. Food was great - We had Fish & Chips, flaky fish , delicious. Service can be improved as we had to flag down the server a couple of times. Definitely the best sports bar atmosphere in town. The atmosphere is totally different - They have huge television sets on all the walls. There are different games playing on the television. As it was a Saturday night, the place was fully packed and seating was an issue. Service was good but there were only three waitresses and hence, we had to wait a lot whether it was water or a sauce. Maybe increasing numbers especially during a Game night or weekend would be good. Food - We ordered the chicken finger and chips ..the potatoes were fried with skin and absolutely delicious. Also had the coconut encrusted tilapia fish. The Portions are Huge and the tilapia came along with a mound of rice and steamed vegetables. In all a good place to hang out and have beer with friends.

TL;DR Ask for Maria, order the double chicken, get a beer, and watch some UFC. Atmosphere: it's a sports bar with big screens and a foosball machine. Most people are friendly. The staff and bartender and friendly as well. Food: I've only tried the double chicken upon Maria's recommendation, and it was awesome. Drinks: Ive triesntheir signature Bristol beer, it's good but not my favorite, close to a Heineken. The vodka 7 also hits the sport just right. Staff: Maria was awesome, shes very attentive and got the orders 100% correct and complete! I've dropped by several times a week right before the kitchen closes and it's always awesome. :) Some nights are also chill though. Hopefully, the add some more niche sports like sumo. Oh and I also wanted to watch WWE and more UFC.

I don’t know why any patron would want to support the owner of this restaurant.

I came here last week with some friends. Despite my rating, there are some highlights. The highlights were the food, the space, and the servers.

I had the suicide wings, which came with fries. The fries were very good. The wings were decent, but I did get the runs the day after, which is fine and somewhat expected.

The space is nice because there are plenty of TVs with good angles to watch sports anywhere you sit.

The servers were very friendly, professional, and the saving grace for this restaurant. There’s more context to add, which I will explain in conjunction with why this place deserves 1 star.

My friends and I ordered alcohol. One of my friends complained that his pint was “off.” He asked to exchange it for another pint of another beer. The server did take the beer away, as any reasonable person would, but then another server returned. The new server explained that it’s a new keg, so there’s “no way it could be off,” and alluded that they would not exchange the beer for him. We were all shocked. My friend protested as any reasonable person would, and the server relented and said, “don’t worry about it,” and she’ll “take care of it.” I see her walk up to the owner, and they talk for a few minutes. When the server returned, my friend got his new beer, but the server informed us that she would be paying for the beer. We were flabbergasted.

Essentially, the owner stood his ground and refused and forced the server to pay out of her pocket.

So I say again: I don’t know how any patron would want to support this owner’s business.

To owner: you’re in the service industry. In the service industry, refusing to exchange a pint of Coors is petty....

I made a reservation 1 month in advance due to the busy holiday season. I called a week before my reservation, they told me everything is set. I received a call from them two days before my reservation and they confirmed I would have a table for 15.

I called 2 hours on the date before my reservation to ensure everthing was good to go.

When I got to the restaurant .... my table was taken by a bunch of guys who refused to move. The owner told me he would try to get things sorted; which did after an hour and a bit . we were placed in different booths around the bar - we had a team Christmas party which left a bad impression since we were denied the table we had reserved because a group of guys refused to move .

I was not comped or given anything for our troubles. We had a few members of our group leave because of the isolation of the groups in the booths. I understand this isn’t something we should expect , however I’ve seen Other restaurants that would have comped us for something on our bill for less; but this was pushed aside once we were able to fit our group into our seats.

I understand it was a busy night: but if I called two hours before my arrival how was my table given away? Was there no communication with the staff? Nobody seemed to know anything about the reservation expect one server.

In the end we were put together ; but it was Too late. The service was amazing by a lady named Sofia , I appreciate the effort given by the owner but it really left a bad impression on myself and the group of people I was with.

Would have been nice to at least have some sort of management reach out to apologize. But from the looks of it they don’t...
