Laith Meat Shop — Local services in Mississauga

Generally speaking, Ahmad and his team are very welcoming and extremely customer service oriented which is great to see. In line with the other few negative comments here, there’s some weird scamming going on here. I asked for a meat cut that had a 7.99/lb tag next to it, and he sold it to me for 8.99/lb. I figured, whatever, the sign was misplaced. The following week I came back again for the same exact meat and he sold it for 9.99/lb. When I asked him why it’s different this week, he was a bit struck on what to say. Then he said “oh I removed the fat for you that’s why”, even though he charged me for the weight of the meat before removing the fat anyway.

All that to say, clearly he tries to take advantage of people who wouldn’t ask a question or think twice about costs which is very immoral. I also see him reserve “special items” for some over others - that’s up to him, but not a very pretty sight to see...

The best BBQ place and meat shop in Mississauga! Every time we visit, the food is consistently fresh, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. You can really tell they care about the quality of their meat and how it’s prepared. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious.

The service is always great, staff are friendly, welcoming, and make sure you’re well taken care of. Even though it’s a takeout-only spot with no seating area, the experience is still smooth and enjoyable every time. Orders are prepared with care and ready on time.

It’s not just a great spot to eat, it’s also our trusted meat shop. We always rely on them for fresh, high-quality meat, whether we’re dining in or buying to cook at home. Their standards are clearly high, and it shows.

Really disappointed in the quality of service provided.

When we placed our order, in store, we were told that it would be ready in 15 minutes by the cashier because of how busy it was. We told her that we would run a few errands and be back.

We came back after 47 minutes, and the order was not ready at all. In fact she told us it would need more time to be prepared, and then went to place our order at that moment. When we asked her why she told us “15 minutes, more than 45 minutes ago” her response was “we were busy helping the people in store”.

I understand being busy and having to wait. I don’t understand telling customers to go and come back in 15 minutes to pick up a ready order, if the order wasn’t even placed.
