Kung Fu Tea on Ceremonial (Mississauga) — Restaurant in Mississauga

Called to ask whether they had any specials, a worker picks up and says today’s special is grass jelly milk tea. I ask her if the promotion is on their mobile app and she says she is not sure. I can let that slide as I understand workers may not be familiar with the ordering app.

5 minutes after the call, we arrive at the store. I ask to order the grass jelly milk tea special and the cashier says they don’t have any specials…. Bizarre, as they just told me it was on special 5 minutes ago over the phone.

Anyhow, I make my usual order for green tea with milk foam instead. I pull up my membership to scan for points, and the cashier says I have to let them know before paying for the drink. I have been to numerous KFT locations, and this has not been the case.

Green tea with milk foam was yummy and consistent with Kung Fu Tea standard. I enjoyed the drink, but their client service left a bad...

Updated Review: From 5 Stars to 2 Stars I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time and used to give this place 5 stars. I even travel all the way from Milton just to get my drink here because it used to be made perfectly every single time.

Recently though, things have really changed. The staff no longer seem as friendly, and the quality of the drinks has become very inconsistent. Sometimes they taste extremely watery, and other times the flavor is completely off—as if the water being used isn’t clean or has a strange smell.

I even brought this up to the manager once, and to be fair, he did remake my drink properly that day. But sadly, the very next time I came back, the same issue happened again—the drink was made terribly.

It’s disappointing because I genuinely loved this location, but at this point, it’s not worth the long drive if the experience keeps...

UPDATE: AUG 10, 2021 Came in for the 2nd time during their soft opening, they had a little trouble with their POS machine, they all handled it professionally from the staff to the owner if im not miskaten? I did not get her name but all staff are helpful and very apologetic. My family and I love Kung Fu Tea.
