Cakes N Shakes by La Dip Mississauga — Restaurant in Mississauga

To start, this place is not easy to find. It’s located inside a Mr.Sub. I had to read another review for this place to figure out where it actually was.

I ordered a choco dip cheese cake and a crepe + 1 scoop of ice cream which came to $27. Like mentioned by other reviewers, most of their pastries/desserts come frozen and are just re-heated. I watched as my frozen crepes were pulled out of the freezer and simply reheated. They didn’t have the sticks to dip the cheesecake in so I was offered to have it in a container instead.

Two stars simply just for the worker who was nice and seemed a bit overwhelmed at the time of my order. Don’t think I’ll be returning to this place and wouldn’t recommended...

The food is trash.

They took about a half out to dunk our donuts and they ended up being stale. We tried the donuts and they almost broke my tooth and I’m scared to try the rest of the food.The cupcakes frosting was smooshed. And the donuts that were terrible costs about $40 per box and they went straight to the garbage.

The people were nice but they took forever and weren’t prepared to make our food even after we called it in the day before and came an hour late.

And lastly it was very difficult to find because of the bad signing and when we called from outside to ask where they are located…they didn’t answer...

Don't bother.

Visited a couple of months ago. Took me forever to find the place because of poor signage. Went to a milkshake place nearby by accident. When I finally found the place it is a shared counter space and there is a fridge with what looked like days old cake.

The staff was not at all interested to cash the purchase. Two other patrons ahead of me gave up and left out of sheer frustration. I got the strawberry cake. Cake was good. I liked that it was not too sweet and texture was great.
