I sent my dad here to get food on Easter . We were told it was first come first serve . My dad was waiting in line when he noticed everyone was getting their orders before him . So he kindly asked if there was a problem with his order because he had been waiting . He was told that the people that got orders before him made a phone order. turned out it was not true because my cousin also made an order after my dad and he didn't call on the phone and received his order before. For the past 5 years I've been ordering from Country Fish and Chips, especially as a part of my Good Friday tradition. Every year the customer service and options get worse. I preordered 4 days in advance, only to have to stand in line for 20 minutes with walk-in orders. Then when asked to confirm my pre-order, I'm told that I may have to wait up to 45 minutes. Why? Because pre-order gives them a guideline. No apologies, no family meal options any more and completely unorganized. This fish & chip restaurant is first rate. Their deep fried halibut is lightly battered and is crispy on the outside while the fish is tender and juicy on the inside. Sometimes I have the halibut grilled to save on the calories and it’s perfect as well with a little lemon and salt and pepper.
