I was disappointed with this campground and the Parks of the St. Lawrence. The first night was unbearably noisy. I understand that car camping can attract some noise, but the staff drove around and failed to enforce any noise restrictions or quiet times. The park staff seemed indifferent. When it was reported that the women’s washroom was out of toilet paper, the staff member in the office responded with a scoff and a sarcastic "thanks," raising her eyebrows as if offended. A major rainstorm caused the park to lose power and the staff responded poorly. They locked the showers, washrooms, and camp office, making themselves completely unavailable to campers. We had no information on when the facilities would reopen or where we could go in the meantime. There was no indication of alternative facilities at nearby parks. As a result, many campers, including myself, chose to pack up and leave. Going without showers is one thing, but being without bathroom facilities is quite another. On the topic of showers - there was typically a 30 min wait each night for showers. They only have 6 for the entire campground. But the showers and washrooms were always clean. The area is stunning for biking—absolutely loved it. However, I was disappointed to find that only one or two beaches along the Long Sault Parkway were actually safe for swimming. It happens, but it was still disappointing. Mille Roche Beach, for example, was deemed unsafe for swimming, but this information was only posted online and not at the gate. It was a little unsettling to have the park encourage swimming and collect their fees in water they know to be high in E-coli and only post that information on their website, and not...
Read moreThis is one of the best location to visit on Ontario Lakeshore region. I should say one of the best family spot. This spot is really surrounded by nice housing and nice people too. I have visited this place many time. And I have never found that this place has bad people to spoil beauty of the place. Usually I take my son here for roller skating practice. In compare to other Lakeshore region places this location is really well maintained. In the summer time we can easily find people doing Motorsports. Park has small area for kids to enjoy swings and some other activities. Adults also can enjoy with kids doing bike riding,...

The place / park is on shore of Ontario lake ( Lake Ontario) . It's a nice place during sunny and also slight rainy conditions.
Light waves in water crushing towards the land with a fresh feel of wind .always the wind is cool and energetic.
It's scenic beauty and the walk through the lake side pathways is very relaxing with the sight of birds and the abandoned ship .
There is a well maintained children's park too . Enough parking space available one one side of the park . I could say most of the time there are many people so...
