I recently visited this store to try their famous Aloo Tikki Noodle Burger, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The burger was a delightful fusion of Indian flavors, with every bite packed with authentic spices and unique textures. It truly captured the essence of Indian street food with a creative twist, making it an unforgettable culinary experience.

What made the visit even more special was the outstanding service. The staff here is genuinely some of the nicest and most cooperative I have ever encountered. From the moment we entered, they greeted us warmly and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable time. They patiently answered all our queries, helped us navigate the menu, and checked in frequently to see if we needed anything. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor truly set this place apart.

The ambiance added another layer of charm to the experience. The seating area was spotless, well-organized, and designed to make diners feel relaxed. It’s evident that the management takes cleanliness and customer comfort seriously.

I first tried this place late Saturday night. I had ordered a Paneer Wrap, and when I left the restaurant, I was pleasantly shocked at the complex, Indian flavors! Grill Taste - Pita & Platter is branded as a Mediterranean cuisine, but mostly serves Indian food in the style of a Mediterranean concept. This is not a complaint, rather a testament to how well this restaurant is able to walk (and serve) the line between these two cuisines.

I returned again on Tuesday night to order the same thing for me and my family's flight the next day. When I explained that I need to leave tomorrow at 10 am for the airport, I was not expecting the friendly chef to offer to come in earlier than their opening time to prepare our large (and not simple order) fresh for us! After watching the chef work late night on Tuesday, the same chef demonstrated Grill Taste - Pita & Platter's exemplary service by arriving early on Wednesday morning and preparing our food order with a few minutes to spare to 10 am.

We ordered two trio bowls with salad and rice (chicken, beef and lamb) for takeout and were expecting it to be a usual, quick shawarma place as we were in a rush. Unfortunately after ordering they handed us a buzzer so we knew it was going to take some time. I figured they were probably grilling the meat, so having freshly cooked meat was worth the wait. Unfortunately we got the meals, and it was definitely not fresh. The meat was dry and cold, the rice had an odd taste and the salad was just shredded lettuce, carrots, cabbage and onion with no dressing aside from the shawarma sauce. It was not appetizing at all and I’m confused as to why this restaurant has a 4.8 rating unless they’re paid for reviews. We wanted to like it, but unfortunately it’s a miss.

I should have known it wouldn’t be good by the state of their dirty washrooms with urine on the floor. It was obvious it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I hope the kitchen is cleaner. I’m being generous by giving 2 stars only because I hate to give a bad review to an independently...
