Dairy Queen (Treat) — Local services in Mississauga

I came to this Dairy Queen location on March 8th to take advantage of their Buy One Get One 88 cent Blizzard promotion. The location was understaffed (only one person working with multiple people waiting) and when I tried to purchase two Blizzards as advertised, the employee stated that I needed to redeem the promotion through the Dairy Queen App. So I downloaded the App and tried to find the coupon, at which point the employee stated that the coupon code would only be available to people who had previously downloaded the App and that there would be some sort of verification sent to my e-mail, at which point I left.

Either Dairy Queen has mislead consumers regarding their promotions, or this location for some reason really doesn't want to take my money.

Visited DQ on Tuesday around 7:15 PM and had a very disappointing experience. Ordered a cheese chili hot dog and an ice cream cone, but the service was terrible from the start—no greeting or basic customer courtesy from the server

When I started eating my hot dog, I realized they had given me just a cheese hot dog instead of the cheese chili hot dog I ordered. When I went back to get it fixed, instead of preparing a fresh one, the staff added chili to the partially eaten hot dog and reheated it, making it extremely dry.

This is completely unacceptable food handling. The customer service needs serious improvement, and staff should be properly trained. On top of that the employee did not have a name tag, so there was no way to identify her for feedback. Definitely not coming back to...

I have visited many dairy queens in my life and never had a worse 2 blizzards ever. They were like soup. My daughter was so upset and threw hers out after 3 bites. I got about quarter threw mine before tossing mine as it was like water. The server did not want to turn the blizzards upside down as she new it was terrible! She tried to pretend to turn it sideways a bit and refused to again when I asked. I live so close to this location. From the reviews it seems what to expect here. Is that so, or do you also strive for excellence at this location like other close by locations do?
