I recently explored the offerings at Kwality Grand Buffet and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. To begin, I found the variety of dishes to be somewhat limited, leaving me wanting more in terms of choices. However, there were some highlights that stood out. The Panipuri and veg roll were delightful additions to the vegetarian starters, providing a burst of flavors that left a positive impression. Moving on to the non-vegetarian starters, the Fish Pakora took the lead with its rich and well-balanced flavors, surpassing the other options available. It showcased a thoughtful preparation that was clearly distinguishable. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for the veg curry, which fell short in terms of taste and preparation. It lacked the depth of flavors that would have elevated the dish. On a positive note, the Mutton Curry stood out as a star on the menu, offering a tantalizing blend of spices that left my taste buds satisfied. The Chicken Curry, while decent, did not reach the same heights as its mutton counterpart. When it came to desserts, they failed to beckon for a second helping. The selection lacked the wow factor that would make them memorable. A noteworthy point is that all drinks were chargeable, which might be a consideration for those expecting complimentary beverages. In offering a constructive suggestion, I recommend enhancing the variety and flavors of the dishes. Even with a smaller spread, it's crucial for the culinary offerings to leave a lasting impression and entice customers to return. Adding distinctive flavors can elevate the overall dining experience and make Kwality Grand Buffet a more memorable destination for food enthusiasts.

Disappointing Experience – Hidden Charges and Poor Service We came here for the buffet and were shown to our table by the floor supervisor, Gursimran. A bottled water was already on the table, but no one mentioned whether it was complimentary or chargeable. Later, we asked for water again, and the server brought another bottle without clarifying the cost. When I asked, she said it wasn’t complimentary and blamed the initial supervisor for not informing us. We returned the bottle, but from that point on, the server was disengaged and unhelpful. At the end, we had to ask for our bill—and it included charges for two bottled waters, even though we only consumed one and weren’t told about the charge at all. When I raised this, the floor supervisor argued rather than acknowledging the issue, only reprinting the bill after some pushback. We were charged $7.50 for a single bottle, which felt like a sneaky upsell rather than an honest mistake. Food: Tandoori chicken, achari chicken, and another chicken dish all tasted the same—bland. Only one fish and one lamb dish—poor selection for meat eaters. Chicken kheema and butter chicken were good. Desserts: Banana ice cream and custard were great. Chocolate ice cream didn’t taste like chocolate. Rest of the sweets were just average. Ambience: The place looks good and the washrooms were clean, which is the only real positive. 🔺Be careful with the bottled water scam—they don’t tell you it's charged and it’s overpriced. Not worth the price. Would not recommend. There are better buffet options out there that are more transparent and customer-friendly.

Where can I start we first called to check if the place was halal and how much it was they employee told us for Sunday it was EXPLICITLY 24.99 and kids were half off so we drive from Oshawa and arrive to the restaurant (when I say we I mean 9 adults and 3 kids) we eat and we then get ready to pay we then are told the total was over 500$ when it should have been around 300$ we confront the waitress about this and tell them about our call with the employee which she booked us for SUNDAY NIGHT at 24.99 the assistant manager then comes over and tells us that deal is only for Tuesday but we were never informed of that we only saw 24.99 on the TikTok video and confirmed over the phone which we then thought the price was real, the situation then escalates a lot with the assistant manager being completely unhelpful and still refusing to make it right we ask for the bill to see what we were charged for and we see extra water bottle charges that we were never informed of, an OUTRAGEOUS 60$ tip placed automatically. We then start talking with the owner as we simply can’t pay that much money, the owner then admits that even if it was the restaurants fault they still wouldn’t make it right, an argument breaks out and the 2 owners say a lot of rude insults about us and our culture and people and religion and assume we are trying to get free food when we clearly have a video of our entire group saying we are willing to PAY just not pay that outrageous amount then most of our group goes and sits in their cars and only the host of our group stays behinds and talks then out of nowhere one of the owners barges out the door and takes videos of all the license plates of the cars Young children in the car scared, she pushes us and keeps trying to take videos and doesn’t even care If she’s touching us or not, or scaring the children in the car, the police are Then called and the restaurant told us to leave before the police got arrive. Please do not waste your time coming here as they are really rude. The food was not worth the price at all...

We had a party on aug 2nd First of all, they called us 2 weeks ago our party to change the party room because they said they had glitch in there system and couldnt see that the north room was already booked and we agreed with them on some conditions because they were not managing with us and we had all decorations and invitations sent according to the room already. Secondly, we asked them about sound system they said if you want you can bring your own speaker and we did and we were dancing and partying and after every 5-10 mins they were coming in to tell us to lower the sound, why would we do that we paid them to have fun and party over there. If they think other customers are having problems they should build proper doors for party rooms which we asked them if they have any curtains or doors while we our having our event there but they were like no one will disturb you. Third, there service was not good at all they told us to leave our used plates on tables and they were there for so long no one came to pick them up. They told us that there will be water jugs on every table but they were coming in after 20-30 mins to pour water in glasses no jugs on table They told us there will be seperate table in party rooms for coke and diet coke and we had to remind them that we had booking for drinks too. They didnt have good service they did not have a wifi service whatever we were asking for, they were like im sorry we cant help with it. It was not a good experience and will not recommend this place for party. I usually dont put any reviews but it was my baby shower they promised alot of things but couldn’t fulfill. The ground staff was great, the delays were there because may be they were overworked or you guys are understaffed but the supervisor of our party was not helpful at all i hope some things our improved. She is the one who booked us for that day and couldnt check if that room was booked or not. We almost paid more than 2k offcourse not for...

We came here as a family of 7 around 9:45 pm for the buffet, and this was by far one of the most pathetic dining experiences we’ve ever had.

When we arrived, most of the buffet trays were already EMPTY. Staff told us food would only be brought “on request.” There was no last call, no communication about closing times, and with two kids at the table, we were still eating when a server rudely slammed the bill down before we were even finished. That level of disrespect is unbelievable.

When we went back for the main course, EVERYTHING was already shut down. Jhanvi casually told us the chefs had already gone home when we requested for main course. Let that sink in — they charged us full buffet price, but the kitchen was basically closed. Another staff member, Manisha, brought out a single curry with naan and then asked if we wanted anything else. When we did, Jhanvi came back and scolded us that we “shouldn’t have asked” because the chef had left. Absolutely unprofessional, insulting, and completely unacceptable.

The supervisor’s excuse was that they “thought we were informed” about closing times. That is a pathetic attempt to cover up their own negligence. By then, most of the food was gone, our dinner was ruined, and we were stuck paying for a buffet that DID NOT EXIST.

Finally, the manager, Gurvinder, showed up with an apology but REFUSED a refund. Instead, she tried to patch things up with takeout (how convenient the chef suddenly exists when it comes to takeout but not when serving paying customers at the table). After much arguing, we were given a gift card — as if we’d ever waste more time and money coming back here.

This place is a scam. Horrible service, zero communication, and staff who clearly don’t respect their customers. We came expecting a family dinner and left frustrated, cheated, and disgusted.

I strongly request the management to reach out and process a refund...
