It was my birthday yesterday. I was feeling a bit down because of the physical distancing in place right now, as it was my birthday. A friend of mine in Windsor decided to do something special for me -- to order pizza for me to celebrate. She went online, found the Clarkson address and phone number for the location near me, then placed an order to be delivered to me. She had already called me earlier in the day, so I was surprised when she called me again, but while she was speaking to me on the phone, someone knocked at the door. She told me to answer it as I don't always answer the door if I am not expecting anyone. Here, it was a young woman holding a pizza box. She wished me Happy Birthday and handed the food to me . I have to say I was totally shocked. I thanked her and brought the pizza in. I told my friend, who was still on the phone, that someone sent me a pizza -- which she said was her. There was also some deep fried cheesecake included. YUM! Cheesecake is my favourite dessert. I want to thank the staff at the Clarkson location for being in on this unexpected surprise and for even wishing me Happy Birthday!! This really made my day and cheered me up!! The food was wonderful and the staff (especially the woman who delivered the food), went out of their way to make my birthday a good one despite being in physical distancing. UPDATE: I received a call from the store at the request of the owner... They refunded the order. I am happy with that!

I've always been very pleased with this pizza place. We ordered a pizza last night and it was very soggy. Even though it was well-done. I was appalled by the response I got. Oh. People don't order mushrooms unless they want their pizza soggy. Michelle (the blond woman) Severely lacks any sorry of customer relation skills when they're an issue.

My wife didn't want me to call right away because she was a bit upset that her dinner was a soggy mess. So I called today. I was told "Oh well you should have called last night." That is an weak and inferior response to an upset customer.

We have given a lot of business to this place. if they don't make it right. They will lose ours. I will also be adding this to my next media blog if they don't refund the pizza. I asked for the owner to call. So I'll wait and see...
