This is a little takeaway place in the shadow of a Food Basics tucked in an alleyway in the most unlikely shopping plaza, but you will not regret venturing into a semi-dark alleyway for this food.
This is a family run establishment is a recent-ish addition to this plaza and I have to say. I am glad they are here because there is finally someone in Mississauga making ACTUALLY GOOD SUSHI.
This place serves great quality food at a reasonable price. Not the cheapest, but for the quality of food, it is a steal. No gimmicks, no fancy instagrammable presentation , JUST GOOD FOOD.
They also offer some common Korean dishes that taste like it came from a Korean grandma. Their stir fry vegetables in their bento are hearty and not overly salted. Everything is made with the utmost care like they are cooking for their family. Even the tofu teriyaki bento.... I was so impressed with the flavour and the amount of tofu that it easily became one of my favourite bentos... And I am not even vegetarian!
If you are stuck for something to eat, please consider getting take out from this place. The operators are kind, detail oriented, and most important of all, they make food...
Read moreOur experience visit to sushi Haru for a takeout to graduation celebration. It left us throughly impressed. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the front desk, setting a positive tone for the evening. The place though newly opened already exudes a charm that promises great things to come. It is small but clean and neat. The highlight of our undoubtably the sushi. The chefs skill was evident in every piece we tried, and each bite was a testament to his craftsmanship. From the delicate balance of flavor to the freshness of the ingredients, every piece was a delight. For those inclined towards vegetarians options, sushi Haru offers a wonderful selection. We opted for the vegetarian combo, which showcased a variety of creative and delicious dish that cater perfectly to vegetarians preferences. Our experience was exceptional. We are looking forward to returning to explore more of their menu, it is clear there is much mire to discover and savor. Sushi Haru, highly...
Read moreHow is it possible this place has 25, 5-star reviews? I went to try them out on a Tuesday because Momijii was closed. I ordered the salmon don. It came with what looked like 4 ounces of Miso soup. When I picked up the order, I ordered a second Miso soup because of the small size. When I got home, the second soup was half full and it was so salty, I could not eat it. The salmon don looked plentiful but when I started eating it, I noticed the pieces were very thin and small. The way it was laid out just made it look like a good portion. Anyone who rates this place highly, has not been to Momijii on Lakeshore. Prices are the same but quality is a lot higher.
After seeing the review, Sushi Haru credited me back $2.83 for the soup. Thanks. But you have lost a customer and $2.83 doesn’t make up for the soup that came with the Salmon Don that was...
