Extremely Disappointing Brunch Experience. Stay away!
I recently invited my wife to enjoy brunch at Levant, but the experience was nothing short of a disaster. From the moment we entered the establishment, our hopes were quickly shattered. The food quality, portion sizes, and overall service were far from satisfactory, leaving us utterly disappointed.
First and foremost, the food was poorly cooked and lacked any semblance of flavor. It seemed as though the chef had completely forgotten the basics of culinary art. My order, the egg and sausage plate, was shockingly missing the sausage itself! I was left with a sad, lonely egg on my plate, which hardly constituted a meal. Similarly, my wife's supposed "veggie omelet" was a complete misnomer, as it arrived devoid of any trace of vegetables. How can a dish be labeled as such when it doesn't even contain the main ingredient?
To make matters worse, the portion sizes were laughable. It felt as though we were being served a child's meal instead of a proper brunch. We left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied and hungry, which is the last thing one expects after a supposed meal.
In addition to the abysmal food, the service left much to be desired. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive to our needs. It took an eternity to get their attention, and even then, our concerns were met with indifference. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them.
Overall, this was the worst brunch experience we have ever had. I can't emphasize enough how disappointed we were with the quality of the food, the lack of basic ingredients, and the inadequate portion sizes. As someone who appreciates a good dining experience, I strongly advise others to steer clear of Levant. Save your time, money, and taste buds by exploring other establishments in the area that actually value their customers and take pride in serving quality meals.
I sincerely hope that the management of Levant takes this review to heart and strives to improve their standards. Customers deserve far better than what we experienced, and it is my fervent hope that they rectify their shortcomings in order to regain their reputation as a reliable...
Read moreI've tried this place a few times. Visit one: great, though awkward. Like they didn't know what to do with me yet the patio was busy and the restaurant had a few people. I chalked it up to inexperience and let it slide. Second visit: very hard just to order a coffee - questioned by several staff, as if this is unheard of. Coffee was good so maybe worth it? Visit 3: I am currently outside wondering why I cannot sit on a half filled patio with no reserve signs....I suspect I'm not the kind of customer thus place is looking for. This attitude was so overt that my son also wondered what was going on.
Either you want a bigger order or something else is afoot. Either way, I'm not being welcomed and will not return. Good luck to you and you're specific clientele. You may want to consider your unconscious (or maybe conscious) bias. Your only saving grace is the fourth employee that 'interviewed ' us who actually arranged for a take out coffee, therefore one star.
BTW, your outdoor server overcharged me and doesn't understand a smile or eye contact - surely, there are other people who need a job. Oh wait, I forgot. Must've been trained by your chief of staff who greeted us with a sneer.
I await your automated response to ALL one star reviews as follows: "Hi Gayle, thank you for visiting us. Sorry for this accidental mistake. We appreciate you sharing your experience with us. We care about....Please share your complaint with the store manager...Waiting for your reply." Super nice touch with the robo responses and putting it back in the customers' court. This speaks volumes about why you are really in...
Read moreMiddle Eastern restaurants are known for their great Hospitality and amazing Food. I cannot say either was my experience here. The woman serving us was all over the place placing food over my phone, which was on the table. Talked as if not interested. On her phone talking during the experience. Table was not clean. Body language was poor.
The food: Simple enough, I asked for crispy well done fries - What I got were fries that looked crispy but were droopy. I waited for the waittress over 5 minutes to come out until I went to ask for new fries, which the waitress wasn't keen on making again. She asked if I was going to eat them. Are you kidding me?? How clueless are you? She asked 3 times what was wrong with them and I told her again and again until I got fed up and said "I just want crispy fries". The rest of the food was average, maybe. bread was cold.
Upon cashing out I noticed I was charged an extra dollar for a plate I ordered. When I asked about the price, a man, who I can only assume is the owner, says, our "Prices have never changed". Rude. Take the extra dollar and enjoy losing business. I could never come to a place like this again.
If you want to be treated poorly and have sub par food for top dollar Come here - As for the $15 charge per person - You should pay customers $15 per person to even come here. Your business can't last with your lack of knowledge on the food and...
