Went during a weekday and it was not busy at all which was great. As I entered, the interior design and ambiance was very modern and beautiful. The menu was kind of confusing as they give you a physical one for only naan and chai but they have a QR code you can scan with more menu items. When the waiter came around to take our order I found out I was looking at the extended menu which wasn’t available during the weekdays as the kitchen for that menu item is only open on the weekends which was disappointing because I live far from this restaurant. Anyways, I quickly decided to order the bihari kabob naan and the butter chicken naan along with some delicious Kashmiri chai. The food came out a little later than I had hoped as I thought since there were like 2 other people in the restaurant that the food would be able to be cooked and served faster but that unfortunately was not the case. The bihari kabob naan was absolutely incredible, I would highly recommend it. This stuffed naan definitely hit the spot and was nice and warm and flakey. It came with some green chutney on the side which honestly, this dish did not need at all. The butter chicken naan was also delicious and flavourful and true to its classic combo pairing. I then proceeded to order the Kashmiri chai and it was amazing. I definitely would recommend the Kashmiri chai here. They also have a variety of other interesting chai combinations which I may try later on as I definitely will be coming back (hopefully soon) to try their extended menu they supposedly serve up on the weekends. Overall, a little bit pricey but the food was great, the service was definitely slow but the ambiance and aesthetic of the place made it worth it.

I was visiting Canada for first time from US and heard so much about Good Desi Food in Canada. Naan n Chai was recommended to me by a friend and I wanted to have a good chai and Naan, so this was best place to come in. At first i was very impressed by the restaurant itself, very neat n clean, the person who took us to our table was either manager or owner (good to see that he was able to step up when server was not available). After that server came to take our order, the food came in reasonable time. Behari Naan were amazing and very authentic in taste. My son got Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and it was good too. Daughter went with Beef Burger which turned out to be good as well. Seems like the chef had good expertise in desi and continental food both. Chai was norma. But winner for me amonng all was Bihari and the Chutney (tamarind n mint). Those two were 100% authentic. I am a very strict reviewer and don’t give 9 / 10 easily but they managed to get that from me. This is a place I would definitely come back if i visit Canada again. Suggestion for owner: Keep up the good work, I honestly don’t have anything to suggest. You are already doing good. Suggestion for Customers: Don’t forget to order Chutney (taramind n mint) with naan, that extra $1 is totally worth it. Also order Chai after food or let your server know to serve after food. Flavor - Star - 9 / 10 Authenticity of Flavor - Star - 9 / 10 Cleanliness - Star - 8.5 / 10 Service - Star - 8.5 / 10 Value for Money - Star - 9 / 10 Above format would be best to justify my review so i will hopefully continue to keep this for all my next reviews.

Tldr: concept is nice, food and service is alright. worth a visit for sure. More than a visit, I'm not sure. Food: everything was cooked well, and the flavors of the naans were nice. I had the chicken Tikka as suggested by the waitress. Had a nice kick to it and well balanced flavors. The portion is also massive and can easily be split between 2 people. It is pricey (at least according to me) and is hard to justify for what it is. Worth a visit but probably won't be back due to the cost (regardless of the quantity) Chai: I had the kashmiri chai, was okay, didn't love it. Other reviews love it so that might be worth a shot. A buddy had the mango chai, and he loved it. Note it's just a tea bag in water. Chutney: I had the mango chutney and it was in a packaging, so it appears they make it off site and hence it appears its not freshly made day of. Service: was good, nothing special. They seemed organized and were attentive when called. For parties of 6 and higher there's a gratuity added already which wasn't stated until asked. The tip you would give would be on top of that gratituity from what I understand, which feels weird. It would've been nice if that information was given willingly opposed to when asked about. Ambiance: generic open concept minimal cafeteria. Since it's 3 different cuisines in one room, theres little ways they could've and did incorporate some personality associated with each cuisine type.

I came here with my family and here are my observations: Its a restaurant that is a combination of different cultures They don't have plain naan The food is catered towards a western guest, it's not a pure south asian restaurant menu

Pro(s): The naan we got (Tandoori Chicken and Tikka Masala) were pretty good. The chicken breast was a little dry but that wasn't a big deal Food was fresh

Cons: They were understaffed and the food took quite a while Small servings for the price (Naan was pretty small for $16, I almost ate 2) The chutney was in a small 2 inch plastic container It was incredibly loud and you're unable to talk Last but not least, the chai was terrible. It was burnt due to over boiling. We got the safron black tea and as someone who makes tea often, I think they got the wrong idea. Tea is supposed to retain it's flavor from the tea bag and the milk should complenent it. If you boil the milk for too long, it burns and the tea bag burns and it tastes like you're drinking burnt milk, no tea flavor remains. If they want to improve their tea, they should follow this:

  1. Change your tea leaves to a high quality
  2. Simmer your milk for 30 minutes to 1 hour instead of boiling it forever and ruining the flavor
  3. Bring the water to a boil with the tea in it and then steep it for 15 minutes on 0 heat. This will retain a very good tolerable level of flavor from the tea then remove the tea leaves
  4. Add some cream if you already don't
  5. Mix the milk and tea once they are both ready and this tea will taste amazing. You can boil it maybe once

I wrote all this so people are cautious and they get their money's worth if they pay that...
