Woww I recommend everyone to taste the customer service at drive thru, so that you shall never think of going to McD again anywhere, you will get such a lasting impression at this location, let me explain my experience between 7:45-7:52 pm Saturday : There were 2 Kiosks at the drive thru, I went to the one on the side and was trying to order no one responded. For a minute I thought the Kiosk was not working and considered going away but I tried yelling at the Kiosk, by now on the other Kiosk, 3-4 cars have passed, suddenly I hear someone who took the Order, my Order was MEDIUM FRIES and asked me to drive ahead. Now I went to pay for my Order and asked the lady named PARMEET, HEY WHY DID YOU TAKE THE ORDER SO LATE? My intention was to know if the Order taking Kiosk had some issues and they might rectify it incase I reported it to them. But to my Surprise PARMEET SAYS ‘WE WERE BUSY TAKING OTHER ORDERS’ and SHUTS THE WINDOW ON MY FACE like that. I was shocked to hear that cuz, if they were taking other orders, thats ok but I arrived first in the drive thru onto the second Kiosk and they should have taken my order too in sequence but how come, they take only one Kiosk as priority and other is left to woods? Now the Fun part, PARMEET GAVE THE FRIES AND SHUT THE WINDOW AGAIN ON OUR FACE, I wanted the receipt but nooo, I was forced to leave. PARMEET was very rude, I know people have moods and they are low at times but I observed she was smiling and talking and when it was our turn, she had a poker face and no explanation of why my order was received late and shut the window. PARMEET has set high standard of customer Service and I believe, this act should be included in the training manuals of McD incase McD wants to leave Canada. Kudos!! Bye Bye McD for life, see you never again. BTW the fries were the worst Ive had in my life. SHOULD THE REVIEW HAD OPTION FOR ZERO STARS, I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE, IT WAS THAT BAD. Read moreThis is the second time this has happened to me at this location, first time was 2022. I went for my lunch break to get a burger (McDouble) and the patty is half raw not frozen but raw! I went through the drive thru and only realized when I got back to work, I showed my co workers the burger and they were horrified and they all agreed I should go and complain, I called the phone number on the website and the person whom I spoke to could not believe what I was saying and transferred me to the manager. The manager did not apologize for the incident but asked me to come in. From the phone call to arriving to the restaurant about 15 minutes went by, when I arrived I explained what had happened and they asked to see the burger and when I showed them they took the burger from me and threw it out, luckily I took a photo of it as proof I was not making it up, I asked for the manager and the person behind the counter told me they were going to the back to get the manager, about 10 minutes went by and they came back and said and I quote “the manager says they are in a meeting for the day” mind you all of this is happening while I’m supposed to be at work. I told the employee that the manager had asked me to come by and they apologized and said the only thing they could do is make a new order for me. I ended up leaving without a new order and without a refund. I didn’t not want to wait around. Fast forward three years 2025 and I’m at the drive thru order my food I get to work and the patty is raw, I did not want to waste my time calling or going back so I threw it out. Not only did I waste my lunch break but also wasted work time and money. Horrible...
Read moreI walked in to order, waited 5+ minutes for anyone to acknowledge my existence. Once I placed my order, I waited a few minutes before I was informed that my order didn’t go through and that because the cashier didn’t enter it properly, I hadn’t paid. Once I convinced them that I , in fact had paid cash. They spent 10 minutes yelling at each other in the back to figure out how to handle this. At which point I would have taken my money back and gone elsewhere but couldn’t get anyone’s attention.
Eventually, someone who I can only assume is a manager comes forward to explain the computer had a glitch of some sort ( well that’s what she should have said instead she blames it on her staff which is a telltale sign of a horrible manager). It was definitely the computer. I saw it happen , but she chose to throw a 14 year old under the bus.
( oh and no one else’s orders have been taken in this time ) Once my order is finally sent through, I wait as they try and give me someone else’s order as the poor woman is just trying to get her food. But they clear my order number from the screen. Probably approximately another 5 minutes later, I get my three sundaes and two sprites and can finally leave.
Sundaes were terrible the fudge syrup tasted like watered down cheap chocolate syrup from the corner store. They were also under portioned or half melted I’m unsure at this point. I also only got two spoons and not three and one and a half napkins.
The washrooms were clean though.
