LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Discovered it many years ago when I was working nearby and would go for lunch a few times a month. During the weekdays this place is booming. The lunch rush is amazing. Always full up and most are repeat customers.
When I left my job I didn't go back for a while. One day, I was craving something yummy, and I asked my husband if he would like to try some Vietnamese food...... fast forward 8 years later and we are still going almost every Saturday for lunch. I love going on the weekends as it's much quieter than during the week.
During the pandemic we would still call in a pickup order and drive the 25 mins each way to pick up our lunches. It helped make things in uncertain times feel a bit more normal.
Some of our fave meals are: A1 - Spring roll (2pc) A3 - Rice paper roll with chicken BBQ, veg & vermicelli (2pc) B03 - Vermicelli with grilled chicken and spring roll P07 - Chicken with rice noodle soup (This makes my tummy happy!) ND14 - Stir fried rice noodle with beef and vegetables C21 - Grilled beef, grilled chicken on steamed rice C22 - Grilled beef, grilled chicken & fried egg, on steamed rice Mango shake
The food is amazing, the atmosphere is nice and the owner/staff is fantastic. Every time we walk in, we are greeted with big warm smiles. We are made to feel at home, and it really does feel like we are having lunch at a family's home rather than in a restaurant.
I've tried a few other Pho places over the years, but nothing compares. I will keep coming back to...
Read moreVisited Pho Pho Pho with my family for lunch after seeing some great reviews online. Surprisingly, it was pretty empty on a Saturday afternoon, which was unexpected. The owners were really welcoming and attentive. They took our orders promptly and the food arrived quickly too. They made sure to check in on us frequently, asking if we enjoyed the food and if we needed anything else.
The atmosphere was a bit quiet for my likingâno music or anything on the TV, which made it feel less engaging. I was also a bit disappointed not to find Bun Bo Hue on the menu, especially at an authentic restaurant, which is usually my go-to at Vietnamese restaurants.
We ordered the grilled chicken and fried egg rice, seafood noodle, and grilled pork and spring roll vermicelli. The rice dish met my expectations with a good balance of meat to rice and nicely grilled, flavorful chicken. However, the seafood noodle was a letdown; I expected a variety of seafood but found only fish balls, and the balance of noodles, soup, and seafood didnât quite hit the mark, although the flavor was decent.
The vermicelli dish was solidânothing out of the ordinary but enjoyable. The grilled pork was particularly tasty and my favorite part of that dish, well-portioned too.
Overall, Pho Pho Pho is a good spot if youâre after a quick, well-priced Vietnamese meal, though some dishes might be...
Read moreI've been going to this place for lunch for almost seven years and it has always been awesome. This is my favourite Pho place. Great food, great service and great prices. The owners have never changed in the seven years I've been going and the lady behind the counter is always smiling and friendly.
I typically get a small chicken Pho (P07 on the menu) and it's consistently delicious. The chicken is tender, the onions are sliced razor thin so they are not overpowering, the broth is fresh and clear and the cilantro is always very fresh. If I don't get Pho, I get the rice paper BBQ chicken summer rolls and I get a couple orders to make it a meal because they are so good. The chicken spring rolls (A1 on the menu) are scrumptious and the green tea served at the table is simple but refreshing and not too strong. I put their homemade hot pepper sauce on everything and it never disappoints.
During the lunch hour it is absolutely packed and while service does not slow down you will have a hard time getting a hold of the server after she takes your written order so if you want anything extra or a glass of water, in addition to tea, make sure to tell her upfront.
I hope nothing ever changes...
