Pita Pit — Restaurant in Mississauga

I challenge you to find a better Pita Pit in Ontario- impossible! I’ve been coming to this restaurant for almost three years and have never had a bad experience with food or the staff.

One thing I love and has stood out to me, in that time is that it has largely been the same familiar faces working here over the last three years (not common in fast food) which signals to me there’s a level of satisfaction with being employed here and I admire that.

And the staff themselves, are all such friendly, down to earth and welcoming people. The food is always fresh with top quality ingredients and prepared with the utmost care and attention.

The store front is always meticulously cleaned, inviting and presentable.

I’ve been to many Pita Pit franchises around the province, and this location should be used as the gold standard of how a Pita Pit should operate!!

I never usually post bad reviews but I was very disappointed with the pita I ordered through DoorDash. Half of my pita was stuffed with Romaine lettuce and the worst part being the romaine had gone bad it was brown. I couldn’t eat my pita. I removed the lettuce and most of my filling was lost. I had asked for pickles on the side but I never got that. Had a horrible stomach ache after the pita obviously because of the stale lettuce. Kindly please throw away the residual lettuce . Best Pita Pit! Clean environment, friendly staff, clear menu/ options, and incredibly tasty shawarma!

Option to grill some veggies (we did mushrooms onions) and premium toppings all included in price (avocado, hummus, cheddar, feta, Swiss, Parmesan, falafel sprouts, etc.) I got a small chicken shawarma and my boyfriend got the regular and we were both full and happy!
