So far they took over the Shawarma market!!! I’m a shawarma lover, I have tried almost every authentic shawarma place in the GTA, this is the best one so far. I HOPE the quality does NOT drop after a while like other shawarma places. Prices are very reasonable and equal to other places they have the shawarma plate the one in the picture for $13.55 after tax, but that plate will FILL YOU up besides the taste. The big mixed family platter is $49 which is very filling as well.

SERVICE: Something that’s special about this place, that the owner is always present in the store to ensure a high quality service and food. When they noticed there’s a long line up the started giving candy for kids, and water for adults, which I thought is very smart. If the owner remains PRESENT at all times the quality of the store will remain high.

Also, they bake their own bread there and they make “sfiha” fresh from the big oven they have.

Nice decorations and clear glass to show what’s happening behind doors, which is smart.

HOURS OF OPERATION:

During the week they’re not too busy On the weekends you gotta put in mind there’s a wait or at least AN HOUR to get your order. They’re extremely busy on weekends.

They DON’T take orders on weekends, I tried calling and they said they can’t place my order, only walk-ins.

Super yummy chicken shawarma here! I'm a huge fan of the chicken shawarma family platter, have ordered this several times and is always delicious as expected :). Also highly recommend the chicken broast, I recently tried it for the first time and it was INCREDIBLE!!! Was not expecting it to taste so amazing, just WOW!!! You have to try it, you will keep coming back for more 😄.

Also love how they offer free meals to those who can not afford it. These people have a big heart and great food, what more can you ask? 🥰

Finally, I love how every drink offered at this store is in line with BDS, in solidarity with Muslims suffering from oppression. I have seen several Islamic restaurants selling drinks which we know are from companies that go against BDS, including drinks, which is so sad...but Shawarma Al Zaeem puts its values first and supports those who are in need and are suffering, which sets it apart from many others!
