"I visited a shawarma restaurant, and although the food was incredibly delicious, I must express some concerns about customer service. In today's times, it is customary that customer service plays a pivotal role in the success of any dining establishment. Smiles, courtesy, and attention to customer comfort have become industry standards.
Unfortunately, in this case, I experienced a lack of smiles and a general lack of engagement from the staff. Even after tipping generously several times, I did not hear a "thank you." This not only makes the customer feel unappreciated but can also affect the perception of the restaurant itself.
Furthermore, one of the employees, who was wearing a cap and seemed less than friendly, referred to me and my friends as "bro." I understand that a casual style of service may be tolerated by some, but it should be adapted to the customer's preferences. After all, every customer has their own expectations regarding service and staff behavior.
Moreover, regarding hygiene, I noticed a certain issue. The kitchen staff wore head coverings, which is a positive sign of hygiene. However, regrettably, I noticed that the hair from some employees' beards fell onto the food. This is a serious matter that requires immediate attention to avoid potential health issues for customers.
In summary, while the food at this restaurant was exceptionally tasty, customer service and hygiene issues need improvement. In today's highly competitive restaurant industry, customer care and their dining experience are critical to success. I hope these concerns will be taken into account so that the restaurant can thrive and attract more...
Read moreWe visited this place with high hopes after hearing about their great shawarma—and I have to say, the food absolutely lived up to the hype. The shawarma was flavorful, fresh, and truly delicious. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The service was by far one of the worst we’ve experienced. We arrived with our kids and found several empty tables, but they were all extremely dirty—left uncleared with used dishes and trash. We politely asked multiple times if someone could clean a table or at least provide us with something to clean it ourselves. The person at the counter bluntly told us, “We’ll clean when we’re free. No one is free now. You can wait.” We ended up waiting 20 minutes before finally cleaning the table ourselves using napkins from a recently vacated table. Even then, we didn’t cause any fuss. But things got worse when our food was ready. I saw our tray sitting on the counter for a while, yet the staff kept handing out orders placed after ours. When I asked about our order, the man at the billing counter ignored me. I had to raise my voice and ask the guy at the grill to check—thankfully, he was kind and immediately handed us the tray. It’s really unfortunate. The food is excellent, but the customer service is shockingly poor. Rude, dismissive, and completely inattentive. If the staff attitude and cleanliness matched the quality of the food, this place would be unbeatable. Until then, it’s hard to recommend the experience despite the...
Read moreDuring my visit to Canada from New York, I made it a mission to find the best shawarma in town, and Yaseen’s Shawarma did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was amazing. Mukarram, one of the staff members, greeted us warmly and patiently helped us navigate the menu, knowing we were newcomers. He even generously offered me a sample of their special chicken tenders, which were absolutely delicious!
We got the chicken plate, and it was beyond tasty. The shawarma chicken was perfectly seasoned and authentically prepared – they slice it right off the rotating grill, just like you'd expect in the best traditional shawarma spots. The chicken saj was a real treat; it had that ideal balance of tender meat, flavorful sauces, and fresh vegetables. Yaseen’s Shawarma nailed every aspect of this dish, ensuring each bite was a burst of Middle Eastern culinary excellence.
What truly sets Yaseen’s Shawarma apart is their thoughtful amenities and community spirit. They provide prayer rooms, adding a meaningful touch for those who wish to pray during their visit. Additionally, their policy of offering free meals to those in need demonstrates their deep compassion and commitment to supporting their community.
I can confidentaly say this is the best shwarma spot in Canada. If you're in Canada and craving authentic shawarma tht's among the best you'll find anywhere, make sure to visit Yaseen’s Shawarma. You...
