Prices are good and the quality of food appears to be good. The restaurant is quiet and the staff were friendly to us when we arrived.
With that being said, I unfortunately had a terrible experience here. I advised the waitress on my arrival that I have a gluten allergy. When my order arrived, before eating, I asked the waitress to confirm that the food was gluten free, which she did after first checking with the chef. She confirmed that the food was in fact gluten free and safe for me to eat.
I was actually served sushi with tempura bits rolled inside, which wasn't obvious from looking at it. I ended up spitting the food out when I realized the tempura inside. The chef noticed and asked if something was wrong. When I told him, he tried to blame me and said that I should have raised this with the waitress before ordering. When I told him that I did, he then said he could remake the food.
They did replace the food - however, even on the second attempt, they didn't get it right. On the third attempt, I was provided food that appeared to not have tempura bits, but who knows.
Their menu does not detail what the content of each item is. They do not seem to understand what gluten free means. When asked if the food was gluten free they negligently and hastily said yes, the food is safe. This is unfortunately not acceptable. Food allergies are not choices.
They still charged me for my meal of course, which is fine. I won't be returning.
Please note that if you do suffer from a food allergy I would not trust...
Read moreSo; My family went to this location to eat rexently, and we thought this location was extremely nice at first! The restaurant itself was very cute and the food was presented in a way that was appetizing aswell as stylish, but after we got past the looks, we realised that decoration was about the only thing they had going for them.
The wait staff was short with us and after we had realised that about half of our order was missing when we got home; we called back to see if we could get it. They refused to do anything about it in the rudest way possible and seemed to be convinced that we had not even ordered the forgotten dishes at all, even though it was clearly shown on the receipt.
And finally; after we had finally given up; we learned that the food itself was definetly not worth having to deal with the restaurant's staff, with it being poorly put together and barley even passing as actual sushi.
So, as much as I want to praise them for their cute decorating; they just kinda suck. Try the sushi across the street. I've heard it's a lot...
Read moreI have eaten the sushi from here two times now. One time was delivery and another was through takeout. They are a tad bit expensive and charge more money unnecessarily, I got the Sushi(A) menu item and they charged me an extra dollar just because I wanted to go from normal salmon to spicy salmon sushi (which is not spicy AT ALL, it just has a crunch with some mayo on top.) the customer service is pretty well as they know what is in their menu. The quality of the sushi though is good, the Nigiri IS VERY soft and just melts in your mouth. Also the rolls are good, so far haven’t experienced a Maki that had unrolled. The only con about the sushi is I find the rice isn’t sticky enough so sometimes the rice of the nigiri doesn’t stay together when picking it up. All set aside I may go here a again in the future. I wouldve taken pictures but I was too rushed to eat...
