Swiss Chalet — Restaurant in Mississauga

Store closes at 9:45 we ordered @ 6 and was told they were not taking anymore orders with chicken.. isn’t that the whole point of Swiss Chalet? After ordering our food which was 4 quarter meals 2 dark and 2 white and a quesadilla. After waiting 20 minutes we were told around 6:20 there was no more plates or utensils available and that we had to eat our of the cardboard takeout boxes, even though EVERYONE ELSE who were sitting down were eating on plates. Was told quesadilla would take 15 minutes, we were all able to finish our meal including a seven year old and still wait 10 more minutes for the quesadilla to show up. And then they served it in the to go boxes without any sides which is specifically says comes.served with salsa and sour cream. The quality of this location has gone downhill, and I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. You could tell the staff was rushing the customers to finish so they can close up early / have an easy closing. There was staff running around with stacks of pre-made salads for the next day and just like I said already prepared to close shop.. and from 6PM, they are apparently still opened for another 3 hours and 45 minutes? If I wanted to eat in cardboard boxes I would’ve just ordered to go and...

During this covid period I went into this location and noticed that 2 or 3 staff were not wearing their mask properly while handling your food. Their masks were just around their chin and not their nose and mouths. Please be sure when ordering food from them. Talked to shift manager and her reply was it's hot working in the kitchen.

Follow up on this location. I went back to this location Sept. 19 2020 (around 4 wks later) and noticed that there were no changes. I noticed that the same older gentlemen with the red mask was still not wearing his mask correctly walking all around the back of the kitchen with his mask pulled down and just sitting on his chin. Then the person that was preparing and cutting the chickens was not wearing his mask correctly. It wasn't pulled down to his chin but it wasn't covering his face correctly.

With the cases of Covid increasing in Peel if you are ordering from this location I would think twice about it, and if you are going to eating there I would make sure the person handling your food is wearing their masks correctly and that the older gentlemen is not walking around with his mask down...

Last night we picked up chicken dinner, kids chicken strips with skittles, and spring rolls w a garden salad. Never having the spring rolls, I bit into them(some had black ends deep fried, majority were super oily) and it tasted kinda off;however, never ordering them I just thought they had that flavor. 334am I woke up w severe stomach burning, and none stop(both ends..TMI, sorry). I just called lakeshore Swisschalet, and asked for a manager or food quality, and this guy w a thick accent said "uh, well, good quality manager... uh I'm the manager right now), so I told him and he was all attitude, I said "do u need me to go to my doctor and get food poisoning written down"- he said "well if you want"... than I said "I'm just calling you to let you know that the Springrolls arnt good, and you need to get rid of them", he than proceeded to state "oh well you are the first one to comment about the springrolls", I said "well I'm calling you to let you know that they are bad", and I hung up. I will be going to get this from my doctor, and than I will be reporting to...
