I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received at Tim Hortons on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025. It was raining heavily, and my friend and I entered the cafe seeking temporary shelter from the storm. My friend had a drink from a nearby gas station, but I fully intended to make a purchase from Tim Hortons.
Before we could even sit down, a staff member approached us and, in a noticeably rude and disrespectful tone, asked us to leave because of the outside drink. I understand store policies regarding outside food and beverages, but the lack of courtesy and compassion—especially given the weather—was unacceptable.
What made the experience worse was the employee’s complete disregard for the situation we were in. Being forced out into heavy rain with no empathy or basic customer service is simply inexcusable. Due to the way we were treated, I chose not to make a purchase and left with a very negative impression of this location.
If there were an option to leave zero stars for service, I would. Unfortunately, one star is the minimum allowed. I hope this feedback encourages a review of staff training and how customers—especially potential ones—are treated...

There were only 3 cars infront of me and it somehow took 20minues just to reach the order speaker. Ordered the chicken sandwich, loaded wedges (pick2combo) and coffee, they informed me that they were out of wedges so I got chicken noodle soup instead. Once I got to the window (another 5minutes) I was informed again that they were out of soup as well and offered me chili, so I had to settle for the chili. After driving back to work, I realized that the gave me a lettuce bacon wrap istead of the chicken sandwich that I ordered, no bread nor spoon for the chili and I don't even know how the managed to mess up my coffee, but somehow they did because it was the worst tasting coffee that I've ever had. Read moreToday, on June 7, 2025, I ordered through the drive-through to try the new supreme stack sandwich. Although the sandwich tasted pretty good, the worker who took my order was extremely rude. She couldn’t understand me the first couple of times I stated my order and just gave up in a very short-tempered fashion, telling me to just drive up to the window. After she understood me, she told me to drive all the way around to the back of the line to pick up my order. Both times when I arrived at the window, she was preoccupied talking to her coworkers. After picking up my sandwich, I asked if it was the new sandwich as it was in a box, labelled “scrambled eggs,” instead of the usual brown paper they served sandwiches in.
