Veggie Flames ( Pizza & Punjabi Street Food ) — Restaurant in Mississauga

Veggie Flames… The worst place to eat any Indian style pizza, burger or any Indian dishes. I and my girlfriend were there last Saturday October 2nd,2021 and we ordered “paneer pizza” and “chole kulche”. The pizza came after 40 minutes and it was over cooked and burned from top and very very under cooked from bottom. Apart from it pizza was not even cut properly and toppings were not smelling good. The last most important thing is there was a hair in one of pizza slice. They way lady(staff) handled pizza was highly highly unethical and with the full violation of food safety standards. After almost waiting for 40 minutes, when pizza came in this situation we decided to put a complain. The lady staff who served us she touched pizza (yes she touched pizza) with her bare hands. We both can literally see that she travelled 10 time back and forth between kitchen and patio with the same hands (sticky, mudded with flour) and said pizza is already perfect. We asked per politely to give us refund and she said she don’t know how to give refund and threw our receipt in dustbin. We didn’t get chance to take photo of pizza because she took that pizza back in the kitchen and don’t know what she did. I know few people won’t believe me but to prove authenticity of this post I would like Food Safety department of Ontario to inspect the restaurant and owner should be liable to hire such a...

Had a very disappointing visit yesterday evening. As of reading all positive and good reviews about this place I decided to visit there in my break. This place was out of my way but i still decided to go there n before my break i ordered on phone amritsari kulcha and masala tea.when i reach there nothing was ready and i have been told to pay n wait in car.i went back after few minutes and the lady told me they made my order wrong and instead of amritsari kulcha they made plain kulcha. 😳😳 after 35 minutes that was her answer, even though they charge me for amritsari kulcha, my tea was not ready either. Then she told me they r very busy so they made mistake. I heard her telling other customers try our soy nuggets n let us know how they r. Seriously!!!! If u cant handle the volume of orders dont take orders because u r wasting someone's precious time. Very disappointed. Only 2 women working there n too many orders. I dont want to be rude with my words but i left that place without food. It was really disappointing for me. They should hire more people to handle the volume of their orders...

The girlfriend and I were staying at a hotel in the area and decided to check out Veggie Flames for a vegan meal. The shop itself is fairly run down and disorganized with empty boxes over the garbage and dirty tables. It did, however have a quaint feeling with the decorations. The staff were extremely friendly but were probably the highlight of the experience. Although their product meant to imitate real meats were both very good (we had the kalga chili with naan and mean & chips), the execution could have been done better. The chili was simply fried onions and peppers with Thai sauce and the mean & chips seemed to just be frozen products thrown onto a plate without any sides or real attempt to elevate. The whole meal just felt cheap and greasy. If I had to imagine junky dive food in India, I unfortunately would imagine it would be this. A cute establishment with very friendly staff, but certainly not a meal I would have again for any reason other than to try convincing...
