My friend and I came here to pick up dinner after I took her to her oncology appointment at the hospital. There were 2 employees working, a man and a woman. We placed our order for carry out for 2 burritos for my friend and an order of nachos for me. I requested my chips on the side. The man kept having to stop what he was doing to very patiently instruct the woman. It looked like it was her first day. My friend was quietly fuming at the painful slowness of the food prep, but I chalked it up to the crap time at the hospital. We were eventually rung up (it took about 10 minutes for our food to be prepared, once they started) and I said something along the lines of "oh, it's just your first day, it'll get better" or something along those lines, trying to be encouraging. Then she told me she wasn't new. And that she'd been working there for 3 weeks. YIKES. We took our food and made the 45 minute drive back to my friend's house. Upon arrival, we discovered that there were: -no utensils -no napkins AND -no chips for my "nachos"
That's just WILD. I enjoyed my toppings with a spoon. Though not terrible, it seems like they stopped using pepper (aside from the jalepenos I had them include) to season the food, unless you have them add Texas Pete when they build your order.
Pictures included of my chipless nachos and our receipt for reference.

Read moreStaff are poorly trained and awkward. I ordered a carnitas and guacamole burrito (~$15 with tip) and the person helping me didn't know what "carnitas" was. They used wildly incorrect portion sizes, giving me a very small amount of meat, and a huge amount of tomato salsa and sour cream, and didn't seem to know how to roll a burrito.
This is definitely the fault of the owner/management and not the poor, undertrained person who was serving me. They clearly needed much more training if they don't even know the menu items. The other two staff in the store didn't help at all, they just silently watched with no input.
Thankfully another staff member eventually remade the burrito once we requested and explained, because it was stone cold from all the tomato salsa and sour cream.
After all this, the burrito was fine tasting, if a little on the bland side.
Very awkward experience, but I'm giving 3 stars since I did eventually get an edible burrito. I can't imagine how badly they may make delivery orders that you can't have remade. Try...
Read moreHuge portions but bland, uninspiring food.
I visited the new Mountain Rd., location and being a first time customer, assumed it would be like any other typical Taco/Mexican restaurant. The interior is simple with a funky decor and they have plenty of seating for guests dining in. Staff were very friendly and knowledgable. The menu was fairly standard however there were almost no veggies to choose from when it came to 'building' my burrito: some stir fried red onion and green peppers. Plain brown rice, beans, plain sour cream, and overly dry salsa. My bowl was bland and tasted like white rice with a hint of sour cream. Cool environment and good portion sizes but I expected more flavour and variety from a...
