A beautiful kid-friendly museum with lots of activities and interesting things for families. Seriously, this place must be crazy busy on the holidays. The exhibits are new and easy to interpret and the building is full of natural light. I went with a senior, more interested in the history of Moncton, and we weren't overwhelmed with information but found a basic, very interesting selection of artifacts, from transportation, settlers, sports, music, etc. We were invited to also visit the adjacent Free Meeting House, which our guide brought to life with a few stories. All the staff were eager to help and share. Lots of tourist information and brochures available in the foyer.

Whatever you think about how the construction of Resurgo Place was handled, now that it exists it's the best Museum in Moncton. The transportation discovery center is quite nice for a city of Moncton's size, certainly a fun activity for a family. Old museum is more of a classic style showcasing the history of Moncton. They saved the old museum's facade from 1916, visible in its entirety from the atrium. Bit pricey, but if you are in the city you might as well do it as there is nothing like it in the area.

Actually went a couple weeks ago with a friend. A couple weeks ago. I believe Thursday night was half price admition. Then the other day I sat at picnic table drinking my coffee enjoying the day and snapped a couple pics. The first part as you go through is very interactive. We're I'm our 30's and we enjoyed the interactive learning parts. Then we went upstairs where there were more interesting displays of monctons history. Then back downstairs the had history of working women through world War II

We took our grandchildren here last Monday. We did not feel that there was an adequate number of staff there to accommodate the number of children present. The craft room was woefully under equipped. There were very little craft supplies available. Glue sticks were out that were dried up and should have been in the garbage. When we were there, last summer, there was a ton of supplies and helpful staff to assist with recommended projects. Indeed, it was the highlight of our trip. The young man who was there this week seemed uncomfortable around children and, in our opinion, seemed standoffish and more of an overseer. There was very little engagement with the children.

In the Exploration area, again there were very little supplies for the children to create items for the wind tunnel. The electric cars were not functioning properly and, after many attempts by a member of staff still were not working. After many frustrating times to get them to work, most children just left disappointed.

This was a very disappointing visit overall. Resurgo has to step up their game or more and more people will cease return visits. We certainly will not...

Ohhh my!!! This has been a super highlight to our trip! We enjoyed close to 3 hours of history. Though my daughter and I are adults it was a place for all ages. We lucked out asking for a tour. We lucked out even more by having Emma as our guide. She was outstanding and we got to learn even more about the history of trains because she loves them. It was also cool to learn about the spelling of Moncton. Ask when you get there. I so hope school groups come here to learn their history. Many interactive opportunities for families too to have fun. We also had a tour of the Meeting House next door and the first graveyard in the area. Interesting history there too. Canadian history is fascinating. The staff know a lot about the area and you can get a lot of help planning your time. Staff were even absolutely incredible! I would go back just to hear more from them. Love how they preserved some of the original building with the modern additions. The parking...

A great museum for all ages & families! It begins with a large room full of hands-on exhibits demonstrating various scientific principles used in transportation.

Upstairs there're lots of very interesting pieces of Moncton & area's transportation history. I got a bit of a sense of what life was like in those various times, by the items preserved, seeing their uses and the impact on Moncton community & industry.

When I went, the last section before the gift shop explained (and showed) how the science we use in transportation was adapted from the designs nature evolved in animals. I think this was a temporary exhibit, but it was excellent.

Next time I go to Moncton and can make it to this museum, I'm interested to see what new displays they have set up!

*This review is my personal opinion, and unrelated to PEI SEO Agency. My only relationship with Resurgo Place is as their...
