We used to frequent this spot before moving away 8 years ago and absolutely fell in love. Some of the most delicious food out there.

Since living away , when we visit family we like to order in. We have ordered from here twice since living away, and both times we ordered delivery, they forgot part of my order. Both times we were feeding multiple people and one person who was missing their food was told to just get a refund through skip.

Both times they insisted that they could not send over the rest of my order and that I needed to settle for a refund. All I had to do was call Skip the Dishes and explain the issue and I could get my money back (in the form of a credit to skip the dishes).

Tonight I was adamant that they delivered the rest of our food as I was excited to treat my parents, so they reluctantly delivered and STILL forgot something.

The food was DELICIOUS as it always is, but the errors and lack of service left us feeling underwhelmed.

Will not be ordering delivery from this location in...

Most welcoming and delicious restaurant around! Everything is so good, you can’t go wrong with whatever they recommend - Thang always describes the food/flavours super accurately, which is really helpful if you’re indecisive or curious to try something new! I definitely recommend the Moncton location for the warm and friendly service, they consistently go above and beyond to create the best experiences! 🙂

The beverages are some of our favourites, but honestly everything is amazing. They make a lot of stuff themselves, like broths and various sauces. Thang is super enthusiastic about the authentic cuisine that he and his family make, you can tell they really want to share their passion for food with everyone! They seem to put a lot of effort into their menu and having a good variety! 🙌

Just maybe prepare for a food coma, because it’s hard not to get everything on...

I ordered the Cantonese chow mein which I have had at different chains, the noodles were crispy and dry- essentially raw- and way too salty. Looked like a bird's nest. I complained to the server immediately and had to order something else, instead of accommodating me they gave me a $2.50 discount on my $50 bill. To add insult to injury, I was seated at a small table with my partner and asked to be moved to one of the 3 empty booths. The server advised that he did not want to move us since it is Saturday night and he would like to save space for larger groups. After this, a couple (party of two) walked in and they were seated at the booth. I am really disappointed in the service and the disregard when I expressed I was unhappy...

During our recent trip to the East Coast, we wanted to take a break from eating at disappointing bistros and seafood spots. We came across the reviews for the Red Satay Grill and decided to give it a try. It was wonderful - the fried rice had that wok hei flavour and the tasty char sui in the won ton soup was so good that we decided to go back the next night, when we had the Cantonese chow mein and Jenny's Special. Again, delicious. Portions are generous and prices are good, compared to the overpriced, mediocre meals we had gotten in more high profile eateries. Service was quick and friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

The attendants were incredibly attentive— the lady remembered my order from two weeks ago and even my favorite seat. The gentleman understood my preferences and suggested upcoming specials based on his observations. The level of attention felt similar to cruise ship staff who interact with you multiple times daily. The menu offered great variety, with a diverse selection of dishes that all tasted excellent. The only thing better than the taste was the price—an amazing experience for just $25 per person!

I heard lots of good stories about food. And I want to try the place for some time now. Unfortunately my first experience was less than 2 minutes. Went to the restaurant about 4.45pm. A couple of tables were filled and over 10 tables available. I asked for a single table and he (Server) pointed out the middle table right in front of the kitchen. I kindly ask for a corner table for peaceful dining. And he said No. I just opened the door. And came out. Am not going to visit again for service like that.
