3 Brasseurs - McGill is the perfect spot for anyone looking for a relaxed yet lively vibe in downtown Montreal. Whether you’re here for a casual meal, happy hour, or just some great beer, this place has you covered. Food: The menu offers a variety of options, but their signature flammekueche (thin-crust Alsatian flatbread) is a must-try—crispy, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. They also serve hearty burgers, poutines, and salads, so there’s something for everyone. The portions are generous, and the presentation is on point. Drinks: This is a beer lover’s haven! They brew their own beers on-site, and you can even see the brewing equipment. The tasting flight is great if you want to sample their unique brews, and they have options ranging from light and refreshing ales to darker, more robust beers. Atmosphere: The industrial-chic decor with a warm wooden finish makes for a cozy yet vibrant setting. It’s bustling during peak hours, but the vibe is always friendly and welcoming. Perfect for a night out with friends, a casual date, or even unwinding solo. Service: The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu and beer pairings. They’re happy to make recommendations based on your preferences. Location: Situated near McGill, it’s super convenient whether you’re a student, a local, or a tourist. It’s a great place to stop by after exploring the downtown area. Overall, 3 Brasseurs - McGill is a fantastic choice for good food, great beer, and an inviting atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

3 Brasseurs in downtown Montreal is a solid spot if you’re looking for a good patio experience, especially at night. Located in a lively part of the city, the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a great place to hang out with friends or unwind after a long day. We went in the evening, and the vibe was just right — relaxed but buzzing with energy from the surrounding streets and other guests. The patio was definitely the highlight. Sitting outside with the city lights around made the experience feel more special. It’s a perfect setting for casual conversations, people-watching, or just enjoying a night out in Montreal. The lighting, music, and overall layout created a chill yet social environment. The staff were friendly and the service was smooth, which added to the overall enjoyment of the night. While we didn’t try a wide variety of dishes, the drinks were solid and complemented the vibe well — after all, 3 Brasseurs is known for its in-house brews. Overall, if you’re in downtown Montreal and looking for a good patio spot with a fun, relaxed atmosphere, 3 Brasseurs is definitely worth checking out. It’s a great place to spend a night out.

As someone who enjoys a good beer and delicious food, I recently visited 3 Brasseurs McGill in Montreal, and it was a fantastic experience that I'm glad to share. From the moment we walked through the door, we could feel the buzzing atmosphere, and the staff welcomed us warmly, making us feel comfortable. The open space of the restaurant provided a cool ambiance that made it perfect for hanging out with friends. We ordered several dishes to share, and each of them was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The poutine was a real standout- crispy fries, squeaky cheese, and a perfect gravy – it was mouth-watering! The beer selection was also impressive, with an extensive range of locally brewed beers to choose from. Being a beer lover, I found the taste to be exceptional and diverse, satisfying every beer thirst. The service was fast, efficient, and friendly; it was evident that the staff was always working hard, not just to serve but to ensure everyone had an excellent time.

Date of visit: July 11th around 9 PM

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant, not because of the waiter who served our table ( he was polite) but due to the unprofessional attitude of the hostess and a waitress serving the nearby table. We were a group of four and sat on the patio near The Ring.

Our first impression was already negative. As we arrived, we were finishing ice creams, and the hostess very rudely told us we were not allowed inside with them. Despite that, we decided to stay and asked for a table for four.

Shortly after sitting down and ordering a beer tower, a friend saw us and wanted to join. We politely asked a waitress walking by if we could either move to a bigger table or join our table with a smaller one next to us. She immediately said we couldn’t move or join tables and asked if we were planning to stay long and continue ordering — which felt quite unwelcoming, especially since we were already consuming and our friend was about to order as well. We said we’d stay about another hour.

When the small table next to us became available, we asked if our friend could sit there without moving the tables, just to be closer. The waitress, visibly annoyed and impatient, said “Je ne peux pas” loudly to the hostess, who then came over and rudly asked, “¿Qué pasa?” to us which is xenophobic since we speak Portuguese and only one of us speaks a little Spanish. That person tried to explain the situation, and after some effort, she finally understood that we just wanted our friend to sit nearby, not join the tables.

The whole interaction made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. It lacked basic courtesy, customer service, and empathy. We left feeling disappointed and disrespected. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place based on...

I hope this finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the conditions of your restaurant pertaining to the lack of air conditioning. My recent visit to your establishment was incredibly unpleasant and physically unbearable, making it impossible for us to enjoy our meal comfortably.

On Tuesday September 5 , my friends and I decided to dine at your restaurant after hearing great reviews about the quality of your food and service. However, to our dismay, it quickly became evident that your establishment lacked adequate cooling systems and was not equipped to handle the increased temperatures of the summer season.

As we entered the restaurant, we immediately noticed the stifling heat. The absence of functioning air conditioning caused the interior to become overwhelmingly hot and stuffy. The discomfort experienced in your dining area considerably impacted our dining experience, making it difficult to focus and enjoy our meals. Your staff also seemed to be struggling with the oppressive heat, which further affected their efficiency and general demeanor. If it wasn't for our bartender Eva and her upbeat mood regardless of the situation, we would have left immediately and gone elsewhere. She's a delight and made our experience bearable.

It is important for a dining establishment to provide a comfortable environment for its patrons, conducive to relaxation and enjoyment. The lack of proper air conditioning created an unpleasant atmosphere that tainted our overall impression of your restaurant. It is disheartening to see such a prominent issue not being addressed, especially when it directly hampers the experience of your customers and the productivity of your staff.

Thank you for your attention regarding this matter. I look forward to hearing...
