B & M Restaurant — Restaurant in Montreal

I have been going to b & m (both on sherbrooke and somerled) since i was 12! Like seriously, had my first date there. But the delivery experience tonight has thrown me off and i think im done with them. SERIOUSLY YOUR GOING TO WANT TO READ THIS. Extremely aggressive delivery driver. Petty theft is his game. Waited almost 1.5hours for a simple club sandwhich and fries. We asked for him to wait a moment to check the food. Our mistake was putting the money on the stand when checking it. He grabed the money off the table and told us if something is wrong to take it up with the restaurant. WE DID NOT GIVE HIM THIS MONEY! HE TOOK IT OFF THE TABLE! All of our food was cold we said wed like our money back and we called the restaurant. While being on hold for about 10mins. He began yelling at us and tried to walk away. We told him to wait as we were waiting for them to pick up. He decided to call 911 and lie say we tried to get our dogs to attack him. Absolutely ridiculous. Our dogs give kisses not bites! Seriously everytime their drivers come and deliver something all my dog wants to do is give them kisses. Worse thing is, the resturant was trying to tell him to give us back the money. He refused to talk to them and smacked my fathers hand to refuse the phone. Restuarant finally spoke to him and changed their mind because we were being aggressive. We tried to explain what happend and the old lady wouldnt let us get a word in. She kept say "i dont like talking to you". Im not a mean or aggressive person, i am absolutely disgusted by the way the delivery driver and resturant handled their business tonight. Would never order or go again. NOT WORTH THE DRAMA...

Acceptable food. The experience was a 3 out of 10. For the cleanliness of the store: the plates were clean. cutlery was a total of 3/10 as I have found 3 hairs on the napkins. The forks were not cleaned properly as well as the Wine cup was abit dirty. The music in the store was somewhat acceptable but nothing that shows class or a high end dining scene. I had the fried calamari which showed a bland taste so you can change the saltiness to your liking but the dipping sauce was great. I also had the house salad which was not cut properly as most of the pieces were cut in huge portions which was quiet uncomfortable to eat but the sauce made up for it. For the ribeye steak was acceptable from the matter of taste. However the meat itself was definitely not a AAA meat as the cut was quite hard and filled with uncomfortable hard fat. The vegetables that were presented with the steak had a bland taste, as a hint of garlic,olive oil, and some lemon would have made the taste way better than the thing that was given. As a critic of finedining I didn't enjoy my time as there were Flies and some guy coughing and burping which almost killed my appetite. I can excuse the flies as the area where the store is located have parks nearby which can explain the flies but still not an excuse to be taken. I would like to point that the servers are the best part of the experience as they kept an eye enough and didn't bother me while I'm dining. As well as I saw them interact with other regulars and they were quiet polite and welcoming. Would not recommend for a high end dining but acceptable for a simple dining experience just don't have high...

Just to update I noticed that her reviews went from 4.2 stars to 3.6 stars now in the past 5 years since 2018 gee wiz how am I not surprised. I updating the review and as well I am adding to a Pryor review noticed she will keep losing customers because she is getting old cranky and lazy to put respectful effort to servive respect and now especially quality I have living here only 5 years since 2017 I am a native West Islander and when I started ordering in 2017 it was not bad now it's just horrible all around in general. For long time native NGD's custy's I really feel bad that over 50 years that I know this place has been around it obviously is not even remotely close to what they used to be as matter of fact they are owed by the same owners from what I understand but this is what happens when owner gets greaty and they have made there money and owners there attitude just changes after so many years I am not saying the same for all the old classic restaurants but she is an example of what I am saying today. I don't know how the Greek woman has been open this long which I agree with another poor review and others she is the rudest person I have ever spoken to and she admitted the staff was drunk. She gets my address wrong and blames me for it I was ordering from her for 4 years since I have been living and actually put up with it but honestly her quality of food has gone down and prices on a 14 inch sub went up $4 in the past year I'm done with...
