Summary: Disappointing experience, avoid this place, there are many high-end pizza restaurants in the area that deliver great quality and service. For close to $75 for 1 starter, 2 pizza's and 2 cocktails, I would expect a better quality and much better service.
We started with cocktails, which were okay but not excellent, and the Arancini starter. The Arancini balls were not bad, but a bit boring. Since we ordered them to share, it would have been nice if we each had a plate to put them on, instead of eating them out of a bowl in the center of the table.
While the toppings appear to be good quality and the selection is okay, the pizza itself leaves much to be desired. The crust is lifeless and dense, no nice air pockets and with a bready interior - in places brown to the point of being burned, but not in a nice way. Some of the topping was under cooked, and not all cheese was melted. After commenting on this to our waitress, I was informed that 'it is just their style of pizza'.
Also, I guess it is their style to only let guest have one drink, at no point were we asked whether we would like another drink, even though we finished ours before our main course arrived.
When asking for the check and a box to take the left over pizza, even though 3/4 pizza was left uneaten we got a small box that we had to stuff the pizza in ourselves.
p.s. I'm pretty sure the goats' cheese was actually ricotta. It had not much flavor at all.
EDIT: I was contacted by one the the managers of the restaurant and was informed that the experience I had was not standard. The way that this manager dealt with my complaint was exemplary - they offered their apologies for the substandard food and service, and extended an invitation to give them a second chance (and a gift card for the value of the original visit). I will go again at some point in the future and I will update the review...
   Read moreWent to this restaurant at 5:00 p.m. and received our food at 6:05 p.m., we were attending a concert at La Tulipe. Ambiance is great, restaurant was clean but the service was terrible. We were seated and forgotten. It was only after we called over a server to say that others who had been seated after us were receiving their food that they looked into us. My wife saw them taking her pizza out of a box and putting it on a plate and based on how cold my submarine sandwich was when it arrived, I think they must have prepared our order for pick-up. Someone came over once our meal arrived and said something about a computer not working properly but restaurants ran well prior to computers, very bad service. Had to call over the waiter to get water on the table. On the up side, the cold sub and pizza had a good taste and it was like eating decent leftovers the next day. Very disappointed with how the restaurant handled this situation, they apologized but made excuses for why it happened that are not my concern, it is theirs. They made no effort to compensate us for the cold food and extensive wait, but I sort of expected they would have compâd one of the meals, offered us a discount coupon to return but they offered nothing but an assurance they would share our experience with the owner. I hope the owner does read this review because based on my experience I would not return to this restaurant.
Update: Monday, November 1, 2021 I received a message on Monday morning from the owner asking me to contact him directly by email which I did that same day. I have yet to hear back from him. Une publicitĂ© sur facebook a attirĂ© le regard d"un ami qui m'a proposĂ© cet endroit pour fĂȘter mes 37ans. La roue de fromage! Bref la.bouffe Ă©tait gĂ©niale ! Parfaite a part peut-ĂȘtre les calmars qui Ă©taient trĂšs petit et caoutchouteux..pourquoi 2 Ă©toiles ? Le service! Notre serveuse attitrĂ© a pris nos commandes des entrĂ©es mais c'est un jeune homme qui nous les as apportĂ©. Nous demandons plus de citron svp pour.les calmars pour lesquels ils ne sont jamais venue! Pour nos boisson nous commandons une biĂšre, un bloody cesar rĂ©gulier et un special en plus d'un coke.Le regulier arrrive avec.la.biere mais pas de trace du spĂ©cial ni du coke. On attends pour porter notre toast. On mange. Je vois que le Bloody spĂ©cial est sur le bar mais personne ne l'apporte. Elle nous demande si nous voulons du parmesan et ont dit oui mais il se fait attendre. Je me relĂšve encore poir demandĂ© a cette 3e serveuse et elle dit attendre aussi de la cuisine. Par mĂ©garde la biere de mon ami se renverse. La premiĂšre serveuse viens laver notre table. On demande des napkins et une fourchette Ă cause de ce dĂ©gĂąts mais ils ne viennent pas non plus! Alors je me relĂšve une 4e fois pour que mon ami puisse manger ! Tout le reste di servive a ete comme ça. Des beaucoupd troo jeune serveurs qui vraisemblablement sont dĂ©passĂ©s par le resto qui est presque plein! Je void que d"autres gens demande/attende et se lĂšve eux aussi pour avoir ce qu'il demande! Malheureusement s'il y avait seulement une ou 2 serveuses qui Ă©tait plus ĂągĂ© ou un gĂ©rant/gĂ©rante qui etait lĂ ppir aider oi supporter leur serveurs peut-ĂȘtre que le servive serait mieux. Ont dirait que l'argent a ete investit dans la bouffe et le dĂ©cor mais pas pour payer de bon employĂ© avec de l'expĂ©rience ! Je n'ai vu aucun serveurs en haut de 21 ans!
