Basha Lajeunesse — Restaurant in Montreal

To the dude who did serve me .... when you ask me my order and I am replying to you, but you cut me off as soon as I reply ...by talking to the staff that is working at the back...that is impolite and out of place in the restaurant industry (fast food or not, there's no excuse for that). Same for saying hello and thank you to some clients and not to others (I was served...if you can call that being served...by a strong built dude that looks in his 50s). Years ago, I was a big fan of basha (it is a fast-food place, but there was still a standard and the food, for what it is, was good, too). But i noticed, in the past 2,3 years, a general loss of some very basic standards (a bit as if the client owes them something and that you are disturbing them) they had in the past at several bashas. Basic manners seem to be something they have never heard of, these days, at some of those bashas (at another basha, on Blvd Cure-Labelle in Laval, I had to wait for the cashier to finish his 5-minute texting on his cell phone .... ) . Add to that, the food is not as good as it used to be, at many bashas nowadays (with some few exceptions, such as the one near metro Montmorency that continues to be fine). I visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The Pita Chicken Sandwich was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. However, I was quite disappointed with the Poutine. The potatoes did not taste fresh at all; it seemed like they had been stored in the fridge or left sitting out before being fried, which affected both the texture and flavor. Additionally, the gravy used in the Poutine lacked quality — it didn’t complement the dish as it should.

While the service was good and attentive, the quality and freshness of the food, especially for dishes like Poutine, need more attention. Serving freshly made potatoes and using a richer, higher-quality gravy would make a significant improvement. It's important that food served is both fresh and healthy, and

THE WORST BASHA ever. They forgot to give one part of my food and called them and said not my problem. I can’t do nothing. The lady with the cap the worst. She has no manners, no customer service nothing. She was yelling at me for her mistakes. I went back to her for the food and she yelled at me saying I’m not giving the food. “I won’t give the food and I won’t cut the meat for you.” She was yelling all this. Worst Basha ever. Stay out of here. Unhygienic place also. I saw one guy putting finger in ear and never washing his hands later. Forget about this place and save your trip to...
