Don't have many good options for Indian food around Saint-Laurent so I decided to try out this take out restaurant for lunch. Ordered a chicken biryani and a vegetable biryani. The chicken was made with whole pieces of what looked like Tandoori chicken. Not very spicy but very tasty. The vegetable biryani did not have as many vegetables as I thought it would but the prices are very low here. When it comes to bang for the buck, this place definitely stands apart from competitors. Walked into the restaurant, friendly staff unfortunately could not order biryaani as it was sold out for the day. Staff recommended grilled chicken and said we would love it. Decided to go with the recommendation since that was one of the few items left on menu. Before leaving the restaurant without take away order the staff said this was his mothers recipe and there and then our expectations went to the peak. A mother can never be wrong with her food and her love and yet it was proven again. The best grilled chicken I have had all over Canada and trust me I have travelled a lot of countries this was the best grilled chicken. WOW!! It was one of the best meals of my life. I won't even describe the flavors to you. You have to come and try it and everything was homemade and fresh. The portion they serve even though it looks small is enough for the big eater like me. She doesn't overeat but satisfies just enough so that she doesn't feel disgusted. The naan bread with the butter chicken is one of the best combinations I've tasted in my life. This dish reminded me of the dishes my mother made for me… However, the only negative point is that the butter chicken should naturally be accompanied by bread and it should not be two separate items to buy.
