Chatime — Restaurant in Montreal

I’m very picky with Bubble Teas. Been drinking for over 15+ years. Montreal, Toronto and Taiwan.

My drink has perfect balance of very low sugar, pearl bubble condiments, and milk tea. I’m embarrassed to say this, but I recommend this chatime store. Not all chatime stores are equal.

Oh wait, I wanted to order a match strawberry latte drink, but they didn’t have it.; so I had to go with my second choice. Maybe I should deduct a star….

Second visit, 04.29.2023

Ordered three drinks. Waited 12 mins (too long, unacceptable). Came home, missing jelly. Return to store and the young girl took my old drink, poured into a cup and added jelly (unacceptable).

When you make a mistake, there should be some compensation such as free drink or free upgrade. My gasoline and time is not free, on top of your mistake. Not very happy how issue...

15$ for two less than mediocre bubble teas (worst ones we ever literally ever had). They charge you extra for the pearls on top of the bubble tea price advertised. The pearls were warm, very sticky, and gluey. The teas tasted of inferior quality and were not good. The matcha one tasted rancid. Also, the workers did not acknowledge us when we walked in/were waiting at the cash. I understand they were preparing an order but all they had to do was turn around and say hi. Would never come back to this place and do...

The popping bubbles are so tasty and good and they’re easy to pop. Even the drinks are delicious. My favorite is the tiramisu one with peach popping bubble. So refreshing, tasty and delicious. And the seats are comfortable and colourful. And the staff are really nice, patient and sweet. First time I went there with my mom they explained me the history or the drink and gave me recommendations based on my taste. All that with patience. Love this...
