I recently had the pleasure to order from « AlChef Boucherie & Grillades Restaurant ». and I can confidently say that their chicken on charcoal meal is an absolute must-try.
The star of the show was the perfectly cooked chicken. Tender and juicy, it was seasoned to perfection with a blend of Mediterranean herbs and spices that danced on my palate. The generous portion was accompanied by a fluffy, fragrant rice that complemented the chicken beautifully.
What truly set this dish apart, however, was the accompaniments. The warm, freshly baked pita bread and generous amount of fries were delightful vessel for sopping up the flavorful sauce that had been drizzled over the chicken.
To balance the meal, a crisp and vibrant salad was served on the side, featuring a variety of fresh greens, juicy tomatoes, and a light, zesty dressing. The combination of the tender chicken, the comforting rice, the pita bread, the delectable sauce, and the refreshing salad created a harmonious and satisfying dining experience.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail and the exceptional quality of the ingredients at « AlChef Boucherie & Grillades Restaurant ». This chicken meal is a true representation of the restaurant's commitment to authentic and flavorful Mediterranean cuisine. I highly recommend this dish to anyone seeking a delicious and well-balanced meal.

Read moreExcellent experience. Dirt cheap for the amount of food. Amazing service. Presentation was OK. We ordered shish-taouk and kefta. Now it cost 50$ cad. We sat at a decently sized table for four. The amount of food was almost comically excessive. We didn't have enough room on the table for the grilled meat and veg. We were two parents, a teen and a child. We had lunch, and finished maybe 40% of the meal, we took the rest to go and couldn't finish it at dinner time! This comes out to 25$/meal for four, that's 6$/head!
Now that the price is out of the way, the food was top class. I could taste the char grill on the kefta, the shish taouk was chicken breast and it was tender and moist, it was perfectly cooked. I do not expect chicken breast to be juicy, they nailed it. Kefta is more forgiving, and they did a great job too.
Notice the 4 stars for atmosphere? this is a grocery store/butcher shop, and it doesn't pretend to be a Michelin star restaurant, but it's clean. The food barely fit on the table, there was so much! Also they served in paper containers. It's not pretty, but dang it's delicious!
I highly recommend the place, just... be hungry, or order...
