Café Au P'tit Gourmet — Restaurant in Montreal

If I could give this place zero stars I would and that solely based on the extremely bad customer experience I had today. The guy that served me, not sure if he's the owner but if so, very bad behavior towards a customer, the worst I've ever received in any place. He basically took me for a fool when I asked for "un bagel au fromage". I pay and wait patiently to finally receive a bagel with freakin' kraft cheese slices inside!! Then, when I ask him about it, he tell me I asked for "au fromage" only and that I should have precised "cream cheese". I buy bagels very often at various spots around Montreal and I have never seen anyone serve a bagel with sliced cheese unless it's in a bagel meat sandwich. Seeing my deception, he then proceeds to ask if I want him to remake another one to which I reply on the positive BUT guess what??! He says he can't cos frankly they DONT HAVE cream cheese! So why even bother telling me I should've precised and then even ask if I want him to remake another bagel?? I was just baffled at this point! 99% of the time when people ask for bagel, there's isn't a hundred different options in most places, it's either butter, CREAM cheese or smoked salmon option. Not only did he purpose play on my choice of words but pretends to care to remake...

Meilleur latté à 2$ du coin! La promotion est de 7h à 10h AM je crois et vaut vraiment la peine surtout que le format est gigantesque (rien à voir avec un petit latté du Starbucks et pour la moitié du prix). Je suis toujours surprise quand je vois des gens passer en face avec leur café du McDo, Au petit gourmet est définitivement un meilleur qualité/prix encore que le McCafé. J'ai recommencé à fréquenter ce café il y a quelque mois depuis le changement de propriétaire. Les heures d'ouvertures étaient trop imprévisibles avant. L'espresso est très bon également. Seul bémol, la machine à espresso pourrait être lavée plus souvent, les vieux grains semblent s'accumuler mais...

Cute little place, barista was very friendly and gave me a 30 second old croissant fresh out of the oven. Right next to Orleans Express Bus station, 10/10 would frequent...
