TL;DR: places need to give numbers or take down names so that patrons can know which is whos. Make sure to prepare each order together. Hire employees that WANT to work in the coffee shop and will put more effort in customer satisfaction and order accuracy then in making late art.
It ok but definitely not worth the price. The coffee itself does taste great and high quality but the service is just not up to the price you pay. The girl at the counter didn't crack a smile. The barista didn't smile either. They prepare the coffees but no one knows which order is for which patron. They just prepare and leaving pickup counter. Customers question each other who's drink it is.
I ordered a cappuccino and a late. And there seemed to be alot of confusion with other orders. In total there was 4 ppl waiting for drinks so it wasn't rush hour. My late was ready, then the barista made a mochacino for other client who they forgot. Then the completed my order with the cappuccino. By the time I had a sip of the late...
Read moreCoffee is definitely great quality and well made. However, it leaves a bitter taste when the person who serves you isn't friendly. I did not feel welcome at all when I went in, even though I said I was new to the neighbourhood and heard great things about the coffee shop.
On another occasion, what was most disappointing is when I asked to have my coffee served in my thermos. The girl made a quick attempt and said that the thermos doesn't fit under the coffee maker..... when I asked if she could simply put it in a cup and then pour it in my thermos, her answer: no, it's going to spill and waste the coffee. She ended up still putting it in a cup when I insisted, and I poured it myself, without wasting the precious coffee.
I appreciate their effort to make your drink. However, the quality of that cup of coffee isn't worth much if you can't follow through the work until you hand it to the customers hands. If you want both, I suggest "Station W", friendliest...
Read morePros: Coffee is really tasty, milk, lactose-free and vegan options, decor is pretty and interesting, lots of seating inside. There's some really great desserts at the adjacent baker, like the blueberry cheesecake.
Cons: Usually really dark with loud fridge compressor noise dominating the room, wobbly tables, if you come in on a weekday afternoon sometimes it is full of sketchy characters.
When I go to a cafe whether to work or relax or just have a great cappuccino, I really don't want to be dealing with things like someone taking a shirtless paper towel shower with an open door in the bathroom then being really, really loud. This isn't a dirty McDonald's. I wish they would kick out or ban some clients. I've been here close to a dozen times and this is mostly what ruins the...
