Not the same quality at all. Go to 3 pattes down St Michel you won't regret it. The exact same plates, but taste better and twice the size and some how 4-5$ cheaper per plate.

This used to be better by far but the service is terrible now and the quality is worse the portions, and price. You can't blame it on COVID because you can get more better and any Portuguese restaurant.

I heard they burnt due to their stupidity owing to the wrong people. Wanted them to reopen so bad but this is NOT the same place quality wise.

I was not the only one surprised, some other couple in line in front of me was also super turned off and will not be coming back either.

On a side not the rice was so dry I almost choked on it and my wife for the first time I've ever seen did not finish pork cutlets at a Portuguese restaurant. I wondered why, tried them, and they just rolled around in my mouth.

The sauce is different too, taste like commercial vinegar. The potato's I took, not the fries also somehow smelled and tasted like vinegar, god knows why

I repeat GO TO THE OTHER PORTUGUESE RESTAURANT DOWN ST MICHEL, ITS BETTER, BIGGER PORTIONS AND CHEAPER. I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW IT CAN BE BIGGER AND BETTER AND SOMEHOW...

We attempted to dine at Cantinho earlier tonight but were forced to leave due to the rude and unacceptable service. We initially walked in without being greeted, and were not greeted for the 45 minutes we were waiting in line. Nor were we ever asked if we had reservations or not. 45 minutes later a waitress told us that we were next to be seated. A hefty man who I assume was the manager then loudly whispered in the waitresses ear that we did not have reservations and to seat another couple. When I asked him why he never came to ask if we had reservations or not, he then argued with us that WE should have told him that we did not have reservations and that he had no time to talk to us. Bottom line, horrible service, nice waitress and very rude manager. Don't recommend. Try Sizzle in...

Really bad service!! My friend and I wanted to have a lunch date so I thought of this place as I went there a couple of years ago and it was great. 1-it took 56 minutes to get our food (note there was not a lot of people and I do take in consideration that it takes a while to get it cooked but come on...) 2- the floor was cold after waiting that long 3- we'll ask the waitress for something and she didn't even come back with our request( more water and hot sauce) At some point I even asked the manager for our water and hot sauce...we waited 15 minutes to get it. By the time he came with the sauce I just told him never mind I'll take all to go as I am not pleased with the service. They notice I was mad and then started to treat me and my friend as customers...never ever...
